IHOP

This is a pretty bad IHOP. The service is rough, the breakfast is usually great, and it’s just all around not what you’d expect when going to IHOP. It just feels like there isn’t much urgency for the customers. But, the servers seem to be doing their best. It’s the higher ups tat are really dropping the ball.

Now. This is a place you can come back to even after you have a falling out. The manager «Arif» took care of my order well after i ordered my take out and left. When i called about my displeasure he assured me that upon my return i would leave happy. So i know u wondering what happen??? As promised he kept his word and i was happy and thankful.

My family and I went here for some family time along with my best friend and her family.
I guess greasy boxed pop corn shrimp what were doing now!
They have a special on all you can eat pop corn shrimp so me abd my best friend being seafood lovers that’s what we order.
The first plate comes with fries do disguise how small the amount of shrimp their is, and every plate after is like jumping in the grease yourself and going diving for little crumbs at the bottom… That’s how bad this was. When I thought I’d couldn’t get any worse each time we ordered it was less and less, the manager was standing around having conversation with some staff members (non work related) and being loud about it about 10 feet away, then when I requested to speak with him he was to busy to show face although he was 10ft away the whole evening.

I said it figures.
its not just me that thinks it’s not good.
The ihop Corp spends millions on advertising this new double dipped french toast.
And the store can’t take any pride whatsoever in what they serve.
It was cold. Must have been sitting there in kitchen for a long time.
It was bad, I couldn’t finish it.
The flavors didn’t go.
I didn’t know what was in it.
Waitress never explained.
She seamed very distracted.
Under whipped cream with chocolate chips, did I detect peanut butter? Or some kind of caramel sauce? I didn’t know bananas came hidden under whipped cream. It seamed double dipped in special k flakes.
Just had a hard time eating this cold crap
Waitress never explained how the combo works.
The menu doesn’t show prices for brioche French toast only. I ordered just the French toast. I assumed it would be less then the combo’s
They give you more french toast but charge with a coffee $ 13.05
I looked at menu and a combo with eggs etc.
Would have been cheaper.
I was waving to Waitress twice as she walked right by me trying pay.
Had to walk up to register to pay.

My Waitress is Montana — she is sweet and courteous
It’s 11:25 am and I was seated fast, serviced fast, food was as expected from IHOP. Very good and very clean.

Worst service ever. Treated us like we were invisible. Very dissatisfied with how they treat their customers. Finally after 20 minutes of waiting the waitress came unhappily to our table to ask what we wanted to order–
The food tasted mediocre– tasted microwaveable and bland.

My wife and I came in here during the early afternoon after a scare at Woodhull Hospital. We came in and ordered our meals. I couldn’t decide on what drink to get, and asked for the server’s recommendation. She thought for a second, and said since they were both in the «refills» category, she would bring me one of each. Of course, then and there, that alone would have warranted a great review due to the great customer service, but this five star review is due to an act of kindness from a manager on duty on Thursday, January 28.
As I stated earlier, my wife and I had come out of Woodhull after a pregnancy scare. This is our first child together, and with the emotions all over the place, I was in father/​protective mode. My wife ordered a salad that had blue cheese, and I remember reading the day before that there were specific cheeses she couldn’t eat. She had already begun eating her salad before I stopped her and told her I had to make sure it was safe for her to eat the cheese. Now, I’m a regular guy who doesn’t usually approach people and ask them whether their blue cheese is pasteurized or not, but that day, I became that guy.
I awkwardly approached the ladies at the front, and asked my question. One of the ladies, (who I assume is a manager) came with me to our booth, and told us that she didn’t think the cheese was pasteurized. She happily offered to bring back another salad without the cheese. Now, this woman didn’t have to do that. She could have argued that we should have been responsible parents and made sure beforehand that what we ordered would be okay for my wife to consume, but she did nothing like that. She took the salad, and came back with a new one without the cheese. Wow!
I didn’t get the chance to ask for her name, and I didn’t see her as we left, but if you’re reading this, (and I know we said it that day) I just want to say thank you so much for your hospitality. It is great knowing that individuals such as yourself still exist on this earth. Oh, and the food was great. =)

«Decent iHop»
I do not have too much to complain about this place. Most of the time that I eat here the place is fairly empty, so the service is fairly fast and I am in and out within 30 minutes. Anita (or Amelia, I forget the waitress’) name is really great, funny, and she makes sure that you are taken care off.

Gave this 1 star cause otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to leave this shitty place a review. Came here early on a week day not too packed and about 5 waitresses literally waited 15 mins and none would come and take my order. Save your time, save your money and don’t go I never leave reviews, but I just HAD to!

bad service, no manager, no busser, wrong food, take forever to see the server to ask for you order, i think the owner don’t care about the bussines

Very slow service and bringing your food out. I ordered the sirloin steak with mashrd potatoes and corn. The menue stated it would also include garlic bread. The waitress brought out the plates with no garlic bread. When I asked if it came with garlic bread she gave me a blank look and stated oh what we do now is ask the costumer if they even want a garlic bread do you want your garlic bread!!! ??? What!!! So strange. SHE JUST FORGOT IT. I come here because its the closest but service is not the greatest.

Soooo slow on bringing out food… but its delish. In the mornings the wait can be ridiculous and the waiters can be confused and un organized… im going to give this a two today because its not packed.

Just don’t do it. You’ll like the idea of going to ihop but you’ll be disappointed if you’re expecting anything better than what you’d get at any regular old NYC diner. The food was pretty terrible. It looked and tasted like it had been prepared two hours ago and nuked in the microwave. Haha and don’t give me that «Well what do you expect? It’s ihop!» BS. No excuse for eggs that feel like a used dish sponge. Unless you’re a hotel continental breakfast. Service and facility were fine, but don’t waste your time. Also my two friends and I were a little hungover, at about 2pm, so we were realllly ready for a slamming breakfast.

Food was good but i didnt know the sauce was spicy! That was the only tearful setback

Don’t go there… unless you have a whole day… i expected bad service, but this has exceeded my limits. Food is not bad, but waiting 20minutes for cup of water, another 30min for food to show up…

IHop is just IHop! Nothing fancy about it, just great tasting breakfast.
I come here all the time because I’m right across the street, I should really avoid coming here so much when I can just scramble my own eggs for a fraction of the cost lol. They also take very long to bring in your food, it should never take long to bring out a simple meal.
The wait staff works hard and I think people fail to understand this. I’ve had maybe just 1 or 2 bad experiences here with the staff, out of 15 – 20 visits. Not
too shabby Huh? I try to be very fair when writing reviews because it’s only right. In this case they lose a star for slow service. I’ve never had to send my food back, my food never arrived cold, I don’t get snobs as part of the wait staff, so I guess I’m lucky during all my visits? This isn’t a place you can get cozy in, it’s not a fancy restaurant, with that being said, don’t expect much from dining here. Good food, eat and go!

Every Ihop is the same. This location is very large but no parking. The hospital is right across the street and it’s in the middle of a shopping area so this pretty much sums up my review!

Gawd, where can i start?
Their music selection is extremely unprofessional., As is the staff (with some exception as there are about two waitresses who are actually great)
Last week my husband and i were subject to listen to one waitress tell another about how she was in a domestic altercation with her boyfriend the previous night then further went on to explain in detail why, using many colorful expletives.
Their service is so slow — especially the kitchen staff — food orders take forever. They only take cash — no debit no nothing, and that’s another mission — waiting to pay for your food then waiting to get change.
The idea of an ihop in that part of Brooklyn (as opposed to downtown Fulton) seemed like a good one considering the traffic it gets, however, this is poorly run all around.

First off, they didn’t serve alcohol in this location. THANKS GOD! Where to begin next, the pan cake was so good it melt in my mouth.
Cake sauces were good and vary.
No grand slam tho.
A child cries.
But down to the business, the ice tea (sweet) was no homo, Cinnabon flavor. My so called «friend» returned his– can you believe that… And got diet Pepsi.

So I called in an order and was told my food would be ready in 15 minutes.
I got to the restaurant in about 20 minutes. At that point I was informed that they just started working on my order. (Slightly pissed by now but whatever).
I ran a quick errand (literally I went right around the corner) and came back 15 minutes later). Of course my food still wasn’t ready. The cashier even had the nerve to say «I’m sorry ma’am, what did you order again?»
I remained calm and repeated my order. We would’ve cancelled the order but we already paid for it so we sat down and just continued to wait.
Overall we waited almost 45 minutes for a take out order that should’ve been no more than 15 minutes.
Overall: I won’t be making that mistake again especially since Burger King is right around the corner.
