High Line Sitters

High Line Sitters made our vacation to NY entirely worth it. Alexa, our sitter, arrived promptly on the first night and engaged with our 3.5 year old son immediately. She let him «take the lead» and she got into all of his trains, cars and dinosaurs just in time for us to head out the door – no crying, no pleading for us to stay. Needless to say, NYC can be a tough place to find trustworthy services and people to care for your children, but the second that Alexa arrived, I had absolutely no concerns. I knew immediately that she was savvy, street smart, conscientious and thoughtful. She got Max to bed each night with no problem (as far as we knew which is good enough for me!) and each day, he asked when/​if Alexa was coming. We even had her come an extra night because he was so happy we thought, «Why not go out one more night?»
Casey runs a tight ship and as the owner of a private tutoring company in Los Angeles, I was very impressed with the way her organization runs. I will absolutely be calling High Line when we return to NYC this spring.

High Line Sitters has been a godsend. We moved out to New York (Upper West Side) in January from California and had no connections for reliable, responsible sitters. I’ve had nothing but great experiences with High Line Sitters.
So far all of the sitters we’ve used have been kind, professional, enthusiastic and punctual. Most importantly, our 6 and 7 year-​olds love them! They always get so excited when we say they’re getting a babysitter (not an experience we’ve previously had). All of their sitters are thoroughly vetted and more than that, they’re just really nice, sweet people.
The website says they will get back to you after a request within 24 hours but I don’t think I’ve ever waited more than an hour for confirmation, even when it’s been short notice. The owner, Casey, is extremely professional and a pleasure to deal with (she’s even babysat for us).
As a mother of two young children, I can highly recommend High Line Sitters.
