This is a great neighborhood hardware store! They’ve got a wide variety of items for the do-it-yourself types, as well as a contractor section with items such as lumber, plywood, doors, etc. Most of the staff seem pretty helpful and knowledgeable (depends who you talk to).
They have most of the items you’d need for doing basic repairs and cosmetic improvements in an older Brooklyn home.
This place is a great alternative to making the trek out to Home Depot (which is pretty far from here), and they have ample parking in the lot across the street.
Note: they are closed on Saturdays and Jewish holidays.
