The brisket hand pulled noodles were ok. A little on the tough side. I went with my parents and they got the dumplings and noodles. The broth was a tad on the fatty side, but the noodles were good. Maybe come and get take out? The sit-in atmosphere leads a lot to be desired, but sometimes in chineae food places, you got to have a blind eye to that and judge by taste.

Near office, fast delivery, decent price, section of choices. Hand pull noodle soup is good, BUT their rice dishes are even better! Recently started ordering lunch from them and trying out different items each time. I recently tried their braised pork with veg, OMG, it is so tender and flavorful! This is so much better than many so call Taiwanese places i tried. I let my colleagues tried a piece of the pork, they all felt in love with it and are ordering it now. I will continue to try in the near future, their dumpling, beef pancake, if they can make these 2 items as good as the rice dish i mentioned, i will come back and update this review to 5 stars!

I always get take out from here when I’m at my in laws. Noodle soups are around $ 6 on average. I always get their pork chop and add an egg. It’s always consistently good. The hand pulled noodles are QQ(chewy but in a good way), and the broth is savory and perfectly flavored. Nothing super unique about the place but it’s always consistent. Delivery is quick as well.

I like this place. Definitely certain times of days and certain days they’re really busy or not busy at all so it depends on your luck. I like that it kinda reminds me of the hole-in-the –wall noodle shops in chinatown and 8th ave. This is the comfort food I crave on rainy days where you can stay in with a bowl of noodle soup and dumplings and netflix. Theres also not many places left on 18th ave that will make hand pulled noodles anymore so I hope this place isn’t going anywhere soon. Also get the dumplings, sometimes they have a special in them, get it.

I’ve only had takeout from here, but I’m a huge fan of everything I’ve had so far! My go-to’s: — Pan-fried pork buns: they fry them fresh to order and are very flavorful. They don’t sop up the excess oil and it is a bit greasy. — Hand-pulled noodle soup: I usually get the one with pork chop and beef and it’s so good! Also, I’ve ordered the hot and sour soup and did not like it. They make theirs with a tomato base and it’s not reminiscent of the tangy, sour, spicy deliciousness of standard hot and sour soup.

Late at night, no drivers license, starving, I decided to give this place another try. I placed my call and she told me the order would be ready in five minutes. The total was $ 15.40 for two beef noodle and one beef pancake. Yes, my brother and I love beef. The order was prompt this time, but the soup was barely warm. It’s like they were reheating it and they realized that five minutes was almost up so they turned off the stove. No, it wasn’t because I took my sweet time walking there. The noodle was fresh and chewy, but the soup base was watered down. I couldnt taste the beef, but it had a nice aftertaste to it. Strange, how did they make that possible? The beef was chewy, but it could use a little bit more. The pancakes were ok. It was bigger than I expected. They either did not marinate the beef or used very little seasoning. Luckily, they had this amazing sauce that gave it flavor. If only the shell was crispy.

The I love their beef pancake here and their hand pulled noodle soup here. I usually order the beef stew hand pulled noodle soup and it’s great. The soup is very flavorful and the beef stew is very nicely marinated and soft. The dumplings here are also very good. The sauce is what really compliments the taste as well. The price here is also pretty nice since you can be full and satisfied with less than $ 10 dolllars. They also deliver pretty fast too.

Delicious fried dumplings! It’s already super flavorful and with lots of meat, so definitely eat it without any condiments. Buuuuutttt if you must, definitely try that with their soy sauce first, which is a mixture of sugar, soy, and garlic. And then try dipping it in their vinegar sauce(my fav is the vinegar mixed with the hot chili oil. In terms of noodles, their hand pulled noodles are good — i’ve had it with the pork chop and beef tendon separately. But I must say, what keeps me going back is the«chong qing sour and spicy noodles»!!! It’s part of their new items — hand written in chinese on the wall — and really a delicious summer treat. It’s meatless, but you can add toppings for a charge. The noodles are potato noodles so it’s clear and perfect for slurping. Items that go with the dish without additional charges are bean sprouts, fried tofu pieces, minced pork, and a soy sauce egg. The soup broth is sour but spicey, and definitely will keep you coming back for more! It also comes with a side dish of peanuts. Will definitely take a pic and share next time! Other apps that I love are the beef pancakes(but must be eaten fresh!) and the pig feet. The pig feet is soooo flavorful, tender, and love the soft skin with it! I also highly recommend their rice dishes — anything on top of rice they make is delicious!!!

Portion sizes and quality aren’t bad for the prices they set. Dumplings are tasty. Noodles are too soft for my liking but that won’t deter me from coming back. I’ve seen them handpull their noodles so I know they’re made fresh. Options are lacking on 18th avenue so I’m glad they’re around to satisfy my noodle cravings whenever I’m in the area.

Hard to decide between two and three stars on this one. It kind of sucks but I’ve had worse. Especially in the area. Delivery is super fast. Hand pulled noodles are ok. I think they’d be better pan fried or anything but in a soup. They are firm but get soggy in the soup pretty quickly. The soup itself is ok, a bit on the salty side. When you order the hand pull noodle soup they offer you two options of broth, beef or spare ribs. I tried the beef one with just beef. It was ok, smelled nice with that sweet spice. A bit salty. The beef was slices of boiled beef. Passable. If you don’t want it with their hand pull noodles, they offer three other options. The dumplings kind of suck here. Funniest thing is that the streamed ones are better than the pan fried ones, despite having a similar filling. They’re both pork and chive filling, but for some reason taste differently. 8 pieces an order. The fried ones are definitely pan fried, and nothing at all similar to the type you’d find in Chinatown. I don’t mind pan fried, but something was just off about these. I also got an order of steamed mix vegetables, which was mainly overlooked bok choy and some cabbage. Also tried the a side of «hot and spicy bok choy», it was not bad, just not what I imagined. See photo. Overall, especially at the prices, it’s worth giving them a shot, but the standard has to be pretty low, even for a Chinese spot. They’re open late and can be found on seamless/grubhub.

The handpulled noodles here are fresh, bouncy and pulled on site! The soup is salty, flavorful goodness with pieces of beef and Chinese vegetables.

This corner hole in the wall in Brooklyn is the promise land if you happen to find 6 bucks n some change in your pockets. This place will not wow you so don’t go in w any crazy expectations. The noodles are hand pulled and made in house which is highly appreciated. It’s a nice fluffy noodle, although I’d like it much more if it was silkier w a little bit more chew to each bite. Their broth is very light and there is no msg. The soup has potential to be better if they slow boil the soup for a much longer period of time. You’re probably wondering why the four stars then. A factor to all my ratings is price vs what you are actually getting. So the four stars is because for just about 6 bucks I tasted grandma’s cooking… And when I say«grandma», I mean everyone’s grandma. Ok maybe not everyone’s but the Asians at least. It brought me n my friends’ back to grandma’s kitchen when we took that first piece of juicy tender pork spare rib w black bean sauce into our mouths. We all gave each other that look of pure excitement and joy! It was just like how she would’ve made it to feed us. The curry beef brisket and tendon gave me that same high which lasted throughout the entire meal. For 6 bucks at this corner hole in wall, I got to relive my childhood through its flavors and style of cooking. For those of you who didn’t grow up w Asian flavors, this place won’t disappoint for 6 dollars. Don’t look for big bold flavors here. Flavors are subtle and not overpowering just the way it should be. Happy slurpings Unilocalers!

Wow this place went down hill! Grubhub too! Not exaggerating, 2HOUR wait! and the food was only passable. It was like a skit when I called. I told a woman I was missing my order and she ask what I want… no no listen, Ive ordered already its an hour late… what do you want to order? Arrgh! It may be fine for eat-in, but dont call em.

Great hand pull noodle spot in Brooklyn! I probably like this place more than the hand pulled noodle places on 8th Ave(Bk’s «Chinatown») The place is pretty darn clean for a Chinese fastfood/takeout. And a really authentic one too. It’s your local mom&pop restaurant instead of your other typical in-authentic disgusting Chinese takeout food place. SOTIPPINGISNOTNECESSARYATALL, like I said the system will sort of remind you of a asian takeout/fastfood because they don’t offer you water/tea and you have to constantly go to the counter to order or request for anything… So only water bottles & sodas to buy. Fried Dumplings — 8 pieces for $ 5. The dumpling skin is a more thin skin, extremely crispy with a delicious filling! Love their dumplings here Scallion pancakes w/beef — Not as awesome as how Nan Xiang’s Dumpling House makes them, not as hot or fresh, thicker dough and what not… but still decent enough to satisfy me. Hand pulled noodles — Get which ever broth appeals to you, be careful some might be a tad too salty or big on the MSG. But usually the broth is flavorful with the beefy flavored broth, star anise, and pickled cabbage yumm. And the actual handpulled noodles are fresh **The bathroom is through their kitchen. That’s when you see the countertops and everything in their vicinity is kept pretty clean and tidy for a Chinese spot. **Very cheap and great value meal for the buck to get you full if you live or around the area.

I came here for a late lunch and ate in. They have a few tables that you can eat in. The place is not that big. You order at the counter and they will bring the food to your table. The food is actually served on a plate. I ordered the large hot and sour soup, fried dumplings, and beef scallion pancakes. The total came out to be under $ 13 for 2 people. The price is pretty cheap, but I could get the same food for cheaper at the dumpling places at 8 ave or Chinatown. This place is not really a dumpling place, since they don’t have veggie or shrimp dumplings. They offer a lot of rice and noodle dishes. The food we had was cold. The dumplings weren’t piping hot or juicy. The scallion pancake would’ve taste better hot. The pancake is more on the thin side. It tasted okay cold. The hot and sour soup, I wasn’t a fan. It had tomatoes in it, which I thought was weird. It didn’t have much of the usual hot & sour soup ingredients.

I ordered the hand pulled noodles mixed beef. Beef and flavor to it. Broth was just okay. Noodles were cooked right as well but the bowl lacked something. I just couldn’t put my finger on it. I’m a huge ramen fan so I thought I would love Chinese noodles soup as well. This is he second time I had it from two different establishments and I have to say, in the future I’ll just stick with ramen.

Ordered some noodles from Seamless because they were one of the few decent restaurants that delivered to Dyker Heights. Ordered the roast duck and beef noodle. I also tried order the ox tail, but they ran out and called me to let me replace it with lamb. The beef and roast duck were probably the best. The broth was still steaming hot when they delivered it(and the noodles were kept separate, which was nice). Also had an order of the fried dumplings, which were pretty good. It was also pretty cheap. With tax and tip, all of this was just a little over $ 30.

Great noodles at amazing prices. Portions are huuuuge! I shared a house special bowl and a plate of barbecue wings and I was stuffed! They do not hold back on the toppings, generous portions, the broth was nice but could use a little more flavor. Wings were not very spicy but more on the sweet and sticky side. The noodles were great you could definitely tell they were home made and fresh. A bit confused if tip is necessary here? They don’t offer you tea or water.

It’s a small place, about the same size as a medium take out restaurant. I went with my family and for lunch and was actually pretty disappointed. The two highlights : Scallion pancake(regular) is crisp and light. It’s one of the best ones I’ve had in ny, as most times is too sense and chewy. This one isn’t perfect but it’s solid. The actual noodles. The noodles are reminiscent of ramen noodles but not eggy. Slightly chewy and doesn’t sog up easily. The not so great : The noodles with meat sauce had ok flavor but was very greasy. As in it coated my mouth. The lamb noodles in soup; the lamb was tough and chewing it was a task. #3 noodle soup combo… the fried egg was great in theory but was fully cooked and shoved into the soup. The pork chop was thin but ok. The bits of beef tendon were soft. The tripe was pretty chewy but not bad. What I found very sad was the broth. It is the broth they use in all of their noodle soups; a thin flat tasting soup of seasonings like star anise and soy sauce. There wasn’t enough flavor to carry any of the soup noodles Through. I’m also questioning the cleanliness of this place. I was going to use one of the sauce dishes they leave on the table but there was water and spots of sauce left on them. The 3 stars are because of the scallion pancakes and because I saw them actually making the noodles. Otherwise, a 2 star.

Leaving work early was totally justified last Friday to get the dumpling deal of $ 3 between the hours of 4−6PM! Two orders STAT! Of course when I came in here, there wasn’t a table to be had, and the take-out line was about three people deep. The tables all had at least one order of dumplings by the time I got here at 5:30PM. The kitchen was jumping! I ordered two orders of dumplings, two scallion pancakes with pork, and an order of fish ball soup. This delightful dinner came out to a whopping $ 14 in change! The scallion pancakes with pork is rolled up and cut into sections. The pork is very thinly sliced, and it just adds to the pancake beautifully. The fish ball soup was cuttlefish, stuffed with meat — which is my absolute favorite; I’ve tried to buy this in a grocery store, but I just don’t know the proper name of it. If you don’t come here for anything, but the dumplings, you’ll eventually venture further into the menu.
