Just left Going In Style and I look fabulous! I just moved to this area and needed a quick pick me up so I decided to get a blow out. LuAnn, the owner, was great. Did an awesome blow out. I have wirey, frizzy hair but now it’s smooth and bouncy! I will definitely go back!

This salon moved from Bensonhurst to this Bay Ridge location in 2014. I am so glad they moved here. They are fantastic. I couldn’t get an appt with my former hair salon but I wasnt completely happy with them anyway so I looked for a different salon and found Going in Style. I go to Grace, she’the best bu I’ve seen the other stylists give great cuts as well. My hair is fine and thin and she gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had. My hair is difficult to cut so for it to look as amazing as it now does I am thrilled.
Give it a try. I tell everyone I can to go there. They are the best in Bay Ridge.

I came across this gem following my some what nomad hair stylist around. She has changed locations and I just follow her around like a lost puppy dog, because she is the best. The staff here is very friendly and you do not get that snobbish vibe you would at some other bay ridge salons (not naming names… ssshhhh). It’s always clean and the lighting is great so you can really see what your color looks like. Even though Grace is the only one that’s allowed to touch my hair, they will work together as a team if they are backed up. Ask for my girl Grace, she’s super friendly and really a cool person to talk to ;)

Going, going, GONE!!!
At first I didn’t notice how filthy this place was until the hair stylist dropped the comb while cutting my daughter’s hair, picked up the comb and continued combing her hair without replacing or disinfecting the comb. As I questioned him on this he said that they clean the floor every second of the day. The manager didn’t seem to be bothered by his employee’s violation of basic sanitary rules. I looked around and then realized how dirty this place is. Health code violations abound here. In mid-​haircut, I took the dirty smock off my daughter and took her to a great salon down the street… Lush New York Salon. I predict that Going in Style will soon be Going Out Of Business.

Love this place. Rafi is the best. I had been going to the same hairdresser for years. When he moved out of the area, I took a chance and went to Going In Style, which is near my home. I was thrilled. Rafi is a master at cutting and coloring hair. My hair looks great. I have been going back to this shop ever since. It is very friendly. Luann makes you feel welcome and Rafi is great. I am so pleased. I would recommend this shop to anyone. Oh, prices for cut and color are also very reasonable.

This place is the best. Luann gives a great haircut and is amazing with color. Always cares about the integrity of your hair. Reasonable prices too. They are extremely nice and welcoming. Have been going here for about 6 months now and couldn’t be happier.
