This is the best bar in Bed Stuy hands down. The draft beer selection is always on point and rotates frequently. They run between $ 6 – 8. They also have a shot and a beer special for $ 7 with a damn good whiskey pour. The place is small, but i’ve never not been able to find a seat, even on busier weekend nights. Glorietta is totally cozy, rustic, dimly lit and welcoming, and to to over the top with hipster blergh. The music is good, and it is never so loud that you can’t talk to the person you are with. For wine options, you get white or white or red, nothing fancy– but you won’t get a chintzy pour here like some places. The bar is right on the Franklin/Shuttle stop on the C so it’s really easy to find. You can also bring in your own food. Oh, and there are two pinball machines. Who doesn’t love drunk pin balling?

Perfect place for 1 drink or several. Have seen it get more and more crowded over the last couple years but bartenders always do a wonderful job and this place is still chill. Thank you guys!

Nice little bar with great beer. Good place to meet a friend for a quick drink that turns into a few more! I had been drinking the falling squirrel IPA and wanted to try another beer but wasn’t sure which. The bartender suggested a beer that was super on point and delicious. It’s always great to discover a new beer that matches your taste so well! It’s also steps from the subway station, so easy to get to from wherever you’re coming from.

We went to this bar on Tuesday, dec. 28th. It was one of the worst experience we had in NY. The barman(blad with tattoes) ignored us for a good 20 minutes. The bar wasn’t crowded at all AND we were seated at the bar(we were 6 seated at the bar). We tried to make eye contact with him but he would not look at us. We finally decided to wave at him to make ourselves known but even then he did not care. He would just look at us and make us feel invisible. An ass??? A racist? We will never know.

Basically you walk in, wait to order your drink at the bar. Beer was fresh/OK. They keep a tab. Took 10 min. No one greeted at doir. No food. Was it just us? Or an off day? Very independent experience. We left in 10 – 15 min. We were starving

Friendly, attentive, staff. Great crowd, excellent beer list that frequently changes. My go-to place for a week day beer. I love that they offer a changing list of craft drafts, but if the budget is tight, you can still hang out and nurse a $ 5 ‘Gansett This is a great place to chat with neighbors or meet with friends. No pretension, just good times

I feel really lucky to have a bar like this so close by. While I am not the biggest beer connoisseur, the hefty, and ever-changing, selection of draft beers is impressive. Excellent spot. Great service.

Excellent beer selection. I like going to a place where they have things I haven’t seen or tried before and this place had a lot. The service came across as disinterested… like«Gosh, do I have to actually give you a beer when it’s almost completely empty in here and walking from where I’m leaning against the bar to where you are sitting is the most exhausing thing ever». Buddy, I just asked you if I could have a beer… I didn’t request that you do the whole«Thriller» dance routine! Location is great, very close to trains. Go for the beer!

This is my main hang when it comes to hanging around the neighborhood. GREAT beers! They change them up every few days which is AWESOME if you love trying new beers. I brought a friend here and he embarrassingly asked for a Coors. Nope! Not here! Only quality beer and quality company need apply.

For me, walking in the door, I felt like home. That also leads me to believe my idea of home may be more skewed than most. As a regular to their sister bar, The Owl Farm, I may be a bit partial to being hasty with my opinions, but the vibe is right, the beer is nice and the bartenders are as chill as ever. No judgements, all are welcome and the beer list is diverse. Last year, I moved from Park Slope to Bed Stuy, and I was going to miss my favorite restaurants and beer spots, but Glorietta Baldy is like coming home from my first semester at college and sleeping in my old room. Feels the same, smells the same but different. The only reason I give it a 4 is because it’s not the Owl Farm… sorry. But still a great addition to the neighborhood it takes residency in. I would go nightly.

This is becoming one of my favorite spots in Clinton Hill. Always a warm and super cozy atmosphere especially when it’s been a cold, rainy day. The candle lights add a gentle, romantic glow so feel free to bring a date here. The bartender isn’t too talkative but there’s a friendly vibe all round. Come and make some friends. The End.

One of the best bars. Hard to find anything to critisize. sometimes it’s busy thurs/fri/sat night? That’s all I got. Fantastic draft selection. Always something new. Cozy seating. Love the seats that look onto Franklin. Very relaxing to watch the cabs cruise by late at night. Speaking of which, approval to be open til 4 every night sets them apart. I have only taken advantage of this a couple of time but it really is fantastic. True NYC bar.

A pretty cool«neighborhood bar» tucked inside of Franklin Street underneath the bridge to the Shuttle train. Their cocktail menu is small; beer is definitely more their thing. I liked the crowd… chill, non-hipsterish, and mature-looking…The bar is dimly lit, which makes for a good, chill date spot. There’s also a pinball machine in the back. I’m giving it 4 stars only because it’s not a place that I would feel the need to return to, but more so, if I just so happened to be in the neighborhood(i.e. somewhere on Franklin and Fulton streets), I’d definitely drop in… To be honest, I really should be giving this spot 5 stars because they accept credit cards… most neighborhood bar joints like this one do not, which makes going out in the neighborhood hella frustrating at times…

If you’re all about beer, this is your place. But even if you’re not all about beer and you want a laidback bar, Glorietta Baldy is your place. It seems to attract an older crowd, more of a sit down and chat vibe than a get up and mingle, which is fine. The beer menu changes and seems to have creative and craft options. Seating stays close to the wall, with a larger space in the back and a two pinball machines. One the weekends there is a rotating list of food vendors that set up shop. Good for a chill after work drink, a lazy day beer, or a first stop on a date.

All of my friends were running on «Hispanic Time» when I was trying to figure out how to kill time before the last Unilocal Brooklyn event the other week and noticed this place after hopping off the train and the limited amount of reviews for it so far. It’s nice and cozy and homey inside though with a lot of Christmas lights strung up. The bathrooms are interesting.. .. all black with white letters scrawled on the walls reminding you to ‘flush’, ‘wash your hands’, ‘turn off the lights’, ‘go out the door’, etc. The happy hour I think is a $ 1 off pretty much everything on their draft list. It’s co-owned by the same people that own Mission Dolores actually in Park Slope. The beer list is quite extensive and I asked to try a sample of the«Carton Something Like Sandy», brewed in aged barrels for over 2 years with an over-fermentation because of the hurricane in the Atlantic Highlands. It’s slightly sour in not a completely aesthetic way and so I went with the Rogue Shakespeare Oatmeal Stout. Though, the guy next to me seemed to really enjoy the unique taste. I like how random the selection was though and its an ever-rotating craft list that was clearly carefully picked out. They also have food which I did not sample but have heard fantastic things about. They bring in a variety of sausages from outside Der Kommissar and Brooklyn Artisinal Foods. If in the neighborhood, give it a try. It’s very low key. Low key enough that I was able to read«World War Z» inside. Also, they have pinball machines in the back.

I stopped in here for a drink with the boo on a recent Saturday night. My thought: meh. We sat at the bar and ordered two beers. I wasn’t aware that Glorietta Baldy sells chips, so I had bought some kettle corn from the outside. The crowd wasn’t very diverse. The vibe was just… meh. I know I’m not saying much, but I suppose Glorietta’s is an average bar– just average all around. The only plus is that my boyfriend, beer connoisseur, says they have a good beer list. That’s something I know a lot of new bars overlook. Considering this bar is very close to my apartment, I will likely be back.

Well hello there fine mistress. I first noticed Glorietta when I was passing by and saw someone imprinting her name on the awning. Now that they’re open, and I’ve had a drink here, I can say it’s my new go to bar in the area. Where Doris(not more than a couple blocks from here) once had my heart, it now belongs do Glorietta. Yes, the G-spot, is now my spot… And that’s solely because they take cards. And $ 6 drinks. And the staff is pretty cool. And it’s a great atmosphere. And pinball machines. But mostly they take cards… That’s what I really look for in a place.
