I was craving an Italian combo. This was the most bland, flavorless sandwich of the like!

I was walking around the neighborhood looking for real estate to rent and I decided to stop here because just in case I moved to this neighborhood I need to know where I’m getting my pizza from! Let’s just say this was a perfect first impression. I had a Sicilian slice and a square with mushrooms onions, zucchini and spinach on top. They were both amazing especially the one with all the veggies. The veggies were perfectly cooked and seasoned and were just the right consistency. Now I’m trying to set up my Chiropractic office near this place so I can eat this pizza often! New York Specific Chiropractic meets Giardini’s gourmet pizza! Beautiful!

Good neighborhood pizzeria. Convenient and worthwhile if you are nearby. Solid all-around flavors and service.

Great old school pizza. No trendy silliness — just good Neapolitan and Sicilian pies. Only thing — stay out of this place when the school across the street lets out — the kids are a real pain and the yuppie parents are even worse.

Decent pizza, quite mediocre. The game is usually on. Definitely one of those places where you can tell the specialty slices have been sitting out all day. I live a block away and in two years have probably gone four times, alwahys just on the go.

$ 20 for a grandma pie, I expect more than what we got in delivery. The pie was very flimsy and the delivery guy must’ve tossed it around because it was all shifted to one side, overlapped and stuff. Just look at the photo.

Pretty disappointed in my grandmas pizza that came with no basil at all. A pretty disappointing dinner.

OK, so on average I’ve been eating a slice per month at Giardini for quite a few years. The service has always been good. But what I appreciate most is the consistency in a good product. I’m partial to their spicy Italian sausage and frequently get it on a Sicilian corner. It’s a neighborhood pizzeria that’s been doing it right for a long time.

Great neighborhood pizza place, but not anything you need to come from out of town for. I especially like that their sauce is heavy on the onions. Also, the owners are from Sicily, so that helps.

Barely edible. The pizza crust was dry and burnt. They clearly were desperate to unload inventory, so instead of delivering a fresh pie, they reheated one that they had made previously.

Delivery took 30 minutes longer than indicated on seamless. For these prices I would expect fresh mushrooms(not canned!!) and a better quality meatball. Sauce on the pie was good, but there were maybe 4 small pieces of cheese on a large. Should be at least 1 piece on each slice! Unless the prices lower or there are discounts we will not order again.

This is one of my favorite pizzarias in all of New York, and within my neighborhood in Cobble Hill. The owner doesn’t know my name, but he always says hello, recognizing me after the many times I’ve been in there during the day, since I work from home. Also, they have a great outdoor patio that’s really nice to sit out and enjoy during the warmer weather days. My favorites are the cheese pizza(obviously), but also any of the slices with spinach, artichoke, and mushroom. You can tell these guys are proud of the neighborhood, its history, and its Italian culture, even as much as it’s changed in recent years. Service is very quick, very reasonably priced, and a good selection of different types of slices. Honestly, if you’re just looking for a really great slice of New York Pizza, this is where you want to go.

Some pizzerias serve good pasta. This isn’t one of them. I ordered spaghetti with meatballs; it was delivered 10 minutes past the delivery time, and the bag was ripped and dripping because the sauce leaked. No utensils, napkins, or parmesan cheese were provided(though I did get bread). Their spaghetti is the worst I’ve ever had — it’s like ketchup on noodles. The meatballs were flavorless hunks of meat. It was like pig slop, something served on the kids menu at Chuck E. Cheese. I wasn’t expecting my palate to be amazed by cheap pizzeria spaghetti, but yikes — this pasta was bad. The only reason I ate any of it was because I was starving.

On the Grandma slice, I liked the unpredictable flavors(was that nutmeg?) but there just wasn’t enough topping. The plain slice was very good. It was more stratified than usual, with the cheese at the top concealing an excellent burst of sauce.

Just visited recently. The pizza was ordinary. Nothing fancy, but I have to give credit where it is due — you do get a huge portion. The tomato sauce was average. Maybe I am used to more garlicky or tarty sweet flavors. My favorites are My Little Pizzeria and Napoli. So I guess I am accustomed to a different taste. The wait was 10 minutes at most, and if you do come at 3 pm like I did, expect a huge barrage of demanding, hungry souls just released from the local school to be fed asap. The price of a slice was $ 2.50 and the garlic knots were $ 1 for 4 of them. I have to say they have really delicious garlic knots with fresh parsley and real garlic slices. It was the highlight of my journey to this pizza joint.

We ordered a grandma which was $ 20. It tasted good but not worth the price. And we ordered a large and it takes up about half the pizza box and since the crust is so thin it’s not filling. We also ordered a salad and garlic knots. All pretty tasted good but kind of felt we spent a lot of money and still hungry. They use more sugar in their sauce and crust than I’d like but the food is good so I would come back but just not for a pie since the grandma large isn’t the whole box and that kind of sucks.

Sicilian is legit. Little pricey but well worth it. Small indoor space but definitely come by for quality pizza in the neighborhood.

2.5 stars… Ordered from them off Seamless. Despite Seamless saying the food would take 60−70min the food actually came in a reasonable 20 – 30. Me and a friend ordered two pasta dishes(about $ 10ea) and a soda. They forgot the soda and didn’t include forks or napkins(I obviously have them at my house but it’s usually included when you get delivery from a place). The two pastas we got were spaghetti and meatballs and manicotti. The sauce wasn’t very good at all, not much different than any generic watery store bought pasta sauce. The two meatballs were dry and tasted more like a cross between a hamburger and meatloaf. The manicotti was covered in a ton of cheese and the pasta was so overcooked I couldn’t tell which part was cheese and whicch part was the pasta. The ricotta was gritty and had an odd texture as well. Still everything was edible enough that it wasn’t thrown away but that was my first and last time eating from Giardini’s

I live on the Best Coast near San Francisco, but I do get out to NYC a few times a year. I know one thing, New York makes the best Pizza in the World. I have sampled probably 20 different Pizzerias across NYC and my favorite slice comes from this establishment. The Buffalo Chicken Pizza is amazing and is my favorite Slice in New York. This is a Great Neighborhood, Great Pizzeria and they also make tasty Garlic Balls! (If you visit San Francisco — get a Slice at Golden Boy’s)
