Dr. Simeon is a gem! A very reliable, thorough and honest dentist that I’ve ever came across. I wouldn’t bother looking for another dentist in the heart of Brooklyn Heights. I am so happy with the work she does.

I started seeing Dr. Simeon waaaayyyy back in 2008, which means she has been my dentist for 8 years. During that long stretch of time I have been completely free of cavities, gingivitis, or any other unsightly oral maladies. I attribute this span of perfect dental health to two things:
— a trusty electric toothbrush
— Dr. Simeon’s amazing cleanings
When I was searching for a dentist in 2007 – 2008, I must’ve visited about 5 different practices. All of these dentists had the same approach: spend as little time with you as possible and let the hygienists do all of the work. I remember one visit atwhere the dentist came in at the very end of the appointment, spent 3 minutes looking at my x-​rays and said «well…I think you need to come back and I’d like to do some work filling those crags of your teeth, they are prone to cavities». WHAAAATT???
Dr. Simeon is the antithesis of the other practices in the area. She does *ALL* of the work herself, including the dental checkup, taking x-​rays, and giving you a cleaning. It is a small office, but an incredibly personal one. At this point Dr. Simeon is like family, I’ve moved to the bay area about three years ago, but couldn’t bear the thought of changing dentists. I’m lucky to have work that brings me into New York at least twice a year, and I time my cleanings when I am back. That’s how much respect I have for her technique.
I can’t speak to her skills when it comes to drilling cavities or performing root canals (again, blessed to not have that in my dental history). But I can only imagine she puts as much care into these operations as she does with her cleanings, which are methodical and extremely, extremely gentle.
I cannot recommend Dr. Simeon enough. When you call up, you’ll be in touch with her admin, Jerline, who is also fantastic. She is extremely patient and will work to accommodate *your* schedule. I remember once Dr. Simeon opened the office on an early Saturday morning because it was the only time that worked for me.
If you are looking for a dentist in Brooklyn, give Dr. Simeon a try!

Don’t waste your time. This dentist does not know what she is doing.
I have been to many practitioners over many years. I chose her because, at the time, she was close by and in the insurance plan. Please don’t make the mistake I made. Just find someone else.
She misdiagnosed me on something that should have been routine. It ended as all neglected dental issues — expensive, involved and painful. BTW — Her positive reviews look suspect.

My family & I have been a patient of Dr. Simeon for many years and we are very happy & satisfied with her. She is kind, honest, professional & takes her time to explain everything. Had to come in for an emergency due to a broken tooth and the office was very accommodating & saw me promptly. The emergency situation was very well taken cared of. Have referred many happy patients. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going to Dr. Simeon’s for years. Her office location is conveniently located and in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Her and her receptionist are always exceptionally friendly and easy to work with. Dr. Simeon is very gentle during her examinations and she seems to genuinely care about what she does. I use to have an issue with my gums and Dr. Simeon gave me a great referral to a specialist. I highly recommend this dentist office.

I’ve been going to Dr. Simeon for several years now, and I really like the fact that she’s open a few weekends a month as I don’t have much ability to make time to see her during the week. Her office is in an apartment building, which is a little odd at first, but feels homey and comfortable. Also, Dr. Simeon has a gentle touch and is good with small mouths like mine (I’ve had dentists that are bad with small mouths and nearly choke me during appointments). Overall, she’a a great dentist, and her office is in a nice neighborhood. Highly recommended.

Dr. Simeon is a great dentist. She is very accomodating with her schedule. She is very fair with prices and accepts most insurance. She has Saturday hours and when she recommends oral surgeons, they come with high praise. Her assistant is also very nice and helps her often during procedures. They try their best to make you feel as comfortable as possible.

I started going to Dr. Simeon for general dentistry and she was great. I had an accident and she was the most unaccommodating and rude «professional» I’ve had. I would recommend her for cosmetic dentistry ONLY. Otherwise, be prepared for someone who really doesn’t know what to do in an emergency situation. Thank goodness I found another dentist who I have been seeing ever since.
