I’ve been to GBS twice and was satisfied with the results both times. The most recent time the older gentleman cut my hair. Though he choose not to follow my directions, he achieved good results! George is very good at his job as well. They are reasonably priced and polite as well.

I’ve been going all over Brooklyn looking for a good barber who doesn’t charge way too much. I’ve found him.
Bay Ridge is lucky to have George. He started out as a high-​end barber working in Manhattan, charging $ 100 a cut. Luck would bring this Queens guy to our neighborhood where he gives an amazing haircut for $ 20 and his attention to detail is no less just because his prices are now reasonable.
George does a great job with my hair and is a nice guy. He’s got a customer for life in me.

This was my first time going to George’s I am very happy I did. George Is very friendly great place. Raphael gave me my hair cut and a hot shave It was the best I did not except a massage along with the shave very professional. The best I will be going back thanks guy’s for making me feel relaxed the best.

The best barber! I have been getting my haircut by George for more than 10 years, and now travel more than 45 minutes to see him. Wouldn’t go to anyone else. He is highly skilled and makes his customers feel comfortable and at home. He keeps the shop in immaculate condition. Don’t hesitate to come here you won’t go anywhere else after!

George is an excellent and very friendly barber, someone who the whole community trusts and flocks to in order to get their hair cut. I have been going to George since I first moved to Bay Ridge and have always been impressed by the professional demeanor and excellent hair cuts. The lines are often a bit long, but thats a reflection of how popular George is. I can’t recommend this barbershop enough!

Great place!!! The owner is nice and talkative + knows what he’s doing :). I got a hair cut– nice, and also a hot shave, you come out like a new born so fresh and so clean :). If you are local def a nice spot !!!
