Gena Care Pharmacy

The store is clean and light, the staff are friendly, the hours are good and the pharmacist is helpful. I stopped in and had a conversation for over 30 minutes to ensure I understood why certain medications were selected and necessary labs to be drawn (I work in healthcare also — which makes me a particularly questioning and annoying patient). Why support mega rich people getting richer instead of local people in our community eat and support their families?
They are open 9AM-​8PM during the week and 10 – 6 on Sat. 5 stars would be if they shifted their hours to start one hour later and were open an hour later — especially the pharmacy area that closes at 6. Also, I wish the store area were a little bigger. Lastly, they do not carry oxycodone — I didnt need this medication but it should be known not to go here if you need it.
UPDATE: the morning pharmacy tech has a great memory, is really sweet and really tries to do favors by, and support, her clients. The pharmacy not being open at 10:30 AM was surprising, though. There aren’t many open pharmacy hours. While the employees try to accommodate I think there must be a better system for getting already filled medication for which no counseling is needed after hours.
