The store is very clean and the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. They have a lot of organic/​upscale products which I like as well. The pharmacy is super fast– usually they can fill things right away.

I love this place! They have the cutest little gifts for last minute pick me ups! The staff is very personable. I think it’s extremely important to support local place is one of the cleanest and well organized shops I have ever patronized!

CVS further up on Court Street or Garden Apothecary? Garden Apothecary, hands down.
This pharmacy store is full-​service, no self checkout. Thank goodness! The staff are attentive, friendly and helpful, and so is the pharmacist. If you need something that you do not see on the shelves like vitamins, etc., ask the pharmacist in the back — they might just order for you and have it ready the next day. Happened to me. I also had my DMV eye test done here. Garden Apothecary also gives out coupon $ to continue shopping on your return.
I receive the exact same price on prescription drugs via our insurance as the CVS down the street. Only I get much more attentive service here.
During the Christmas season, they also sold artificial Christmas trees in the store. I had no idea!
Prices are reasonable (or lower than expected) on most everything, except the Papyrus greeting cards and a few precious gift-​y items, but that’s because those brands are already expensive. The great thing is that the few gift-​y items assure you the opportunity to purchase a decent gift that seems thoughtful and that you took some care, and does not scream «As Seen On T.V.»

Never going back to CVS! Love this place. Best hair care products, great selection of baby stuff, cards and wrappings, very kind and friendly staff, and helpful pharmacist. Perfect addition to the neighborhood and worth the extra few blocks to go there versus big chain pharmacies.

I’m very happy to have this pharmacy only a couple blocks from my home. They’ve got pretty much everything you need, with more of a focus on cosmetics than drugs, and the prices are good. The only real ding to their rating is that I wish they had a better selection of vitamins. They are assured five stars, though, for customer service. The people at the checkout are always friendly and glad to see you, and the pharmacist has gotta be the best pharmacist I’ve ever dealt with. Friendly, helpful, and professional: he’s great.

You know how chain pharmacies are really really terrible? This one isn’t. Because it’s not a chain. It’s independently owned and it’s AWESOME. The pharmacists are lovely and helpful, and they have so many great beauty brands that are hard to find. You can take your dog inside. Just stop in here– the selection will blow your mind. And SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS!

I love Garden Apothecary! The pharmacist is friendly, and knowledgeable! I am greeted when I enter the store which along with the pharmacy, is neat, well stocked and bigger than I expected. Prices are not much higher than the «chain pharmacies in the neighborhood». Should one need medicines delivered, they are happy to do so. A great and much needed, service minded, small business addition to the neighborhood!

Happy to give this place my support. Always friendly and helpful. Staff is really amazing and friendly. They always refer to me by my first name. I went in to use my insurance for a prescription to avoid CVS. But they didn’t use my insurance, but they said they were going to use it soon. Without asking they gave me a call weeks later just let me know that they now excepted my insurance. So happy they set up shop here.

This store just recently opened. I happen to live nearby, so I decided to go in on a quiet Saturday to check out what they were selling. To my surprise, the store was must larger than I had expected!
The front of the store consists of baby toys and candles. There’s also an interesting selection of gag toys like giant cups, flasks, and even a vibration speaker without any plugins necessary!
There’s a giant section in the back with everything you need, like soaps, lotions, medicines, vitamins, socks, hair dye, toys, you name it! There’s even a pharmacy in the back of the store.
The staff was also extremely nice. They explained how they just opened and were in the process of stocking the shelves, so if some spots looked a bit empty to please excuse the appearance of the store. Despite that, there were plenty of things to look at, so it didn’t bother me at all!
I ended up buying some candles and home fragrances. They were only taking cash the day I went in, because they were in the process of getting the machines hooked up. I am definitely looking forward to shopping here again!
