Fulton Ferry Landing Pier

Proving once again that Manhattan is best seen when you’re not actually there. Gorgeous views. I can’t count how many bridal parties I’ve seen taking advantage of this.

In the shadow of the Brooklyn Bridge, is the Fulton Ferry Landing. From here you can board the water taxi. We just sat here, since they had many benches set up and checked out a close up view of the Brooklyn Bridge and the skyline of downtown Manhattan.
Children can play in the huge sandbox constructed on this pier and adults can have some ice cold beers on tap from the bar. Nice way to spend the day in Brooklyn. Two minute walk to the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory, River Café, Pete’s downtown and Grimaldi’s.
They even have eight to ten porta potties set up, which were shockingly clean!
