BEWARE! You will be put into collections! Is she a wonderful MD, yes, but boy was I SHOCKED to receive a $ 600.00 bill. The DOS was in 2013 and the bill came in late 2014, a whole YEAR and some weeks after the DOS. As a Senior Billing Coordinator for Mt, Sinai, I did not comprehend how a provider can bill a patient a whole year later after the insurance paid their portion. I tried to get her to write this off as I explained to her from a billing stand point that it just seemed wrong to go after a patient (a 4 year old patient at that lol) after a year has passed from the DOS (date of service). Her response was she put my behind in collections over this, HA!

Easily one of the best doctors (possible THE BEST) doctor I have ever been to. Attentive, considerate, and understanding. I came with a long untreated issue with postnasal drip and she didn’t give me grief for neglecting the issue for such a long time, she just put me on the path to (hopefully!) resolving the issue. Sweet, kind, everything a doctor should be. I wish there were more stars to give her!

One of the best doctors I’ve been too! She gives you so much information and makes sure you understand everything. She explained more about my allergies than my allergist has. Really helpful, cares a lot, and you will learn so much!
If you ever need to go to an ENT I highly recommend Dr. Yao!

I just left Dr. Yao’s office. Awesome physician, great care, and such a great demeanor. Ever so mindful of the fact that I am without insurance right now, and for that I am immensely grateful to her, and the whole staff there.
