Now that M&I International has shut down(if you read my review, you will understand how deeply that saddens me) this is one of the go to places to get some good Russian food items. It is fairly new, having been around for only several years, but it is a very clean and quality place to shop.

Wow! What a fantasic selection, I wish the staff were a little more confident, because I would have bought the shop if someone had guided me. Someone saw my wife looking at the bread and told her she had to have it. They were right, it was thee best bread I’ve had in NY. My experience was so good, that after we went to the aquarium, we went right back to buy more bread and meat… Wonderful! The staff cost the last star, otherwise it would be 5*.

Great deli for well made, fresh Russian foods. Buy it, have them warm it for you and walk up to the boardwalk for a seaside treat. Love all the prepared meats – chicken meatballs, beet salad, eggplant salads, meat pelmeni, all sorts of wonderful foods to pick from. can’t speak for the desserts as the prior reviewer did. but the meats, smoked foods, etc are beautiful. and cheaper than eating at the boardwalk restaurants although they are wonderful and fun too.

This place is a deli but I can appropriate their effort to be gourmet. We saw ladies dress up and shopping. My friend and I called the ladies form Oceana complex(new gated community for half to 2 millions in BB). Upstairs has several tables with chairs to enjoy the foods. TV was on but in Russian. 2nd floor is mainly for cakes and desserts. The lady at the counter spoke English well. She was helpful. We decided to try this black & white cake. It was thin layered of crepes. It’s like Mille Crêpe Cake . The white icing in between the crepes tasted strange. It tasted bland. The icing without sweetness???
