Florence Food Center & Bakery

The other night it seemed like everything in the freezer was semi-​cold, but I rolled the dice. I guess that was my own fault. When I got home I opened a package of Mrs. T’s perogies and the whole box was green. When frozen food is spoiled, it really makes you wonder how long it’s been sitting there and what the temp of the freezer is.

Ok… i have gone to this market for a long time. I have only seen it go down in the tubes for me. Sure… they have some things you cant find anywhere else… and they have a decent deli, if you ignore all the flies around the deli counter… but the service. My god. Horrendous. There are a few cashiers that bust their butts. But, there is a group that just dont want to be there. Tossing produce into a plastic bag with indifference. Mumbling and not being friendly. Not giving correct change back. Just out right being asses. I have basically downgraded this from a regular shopping area to an only if i have no option place. It is sad seeing a neighborhood institution being dragged down by morons. So sad…

Small little neighborhood market. I live in the area so this market is really convenient for me. Looks old and kinda beat up but The prices are reasonable. This market is considered complete for being such a small market. They also have some pre-​made food which i will try next time.

Little store that carries everything! Compare to a deli or other big name stores it is not expensive and always have something on sale. Always offering great sales on cold cuts/​cheeses, the meat section clean and stuffed. They have fresh, cooked, Delicious food too!

This is a great neighborhood grocery store. It has every thing I need within walking distance, I just came here for a quick grab when I am out of something in the middle of cooking. Service is great!

A charming little staple in the neighborhood, Florence is a small supermarket (or just market then?) with parts deli and bakery thrown in. Prices are fair, food is good, people are friendly.
