Came here for a pedi and mani. I’d say in general it’s good, but the girl who was doing my nails basically had a 360-​turn on her attitude when I only had $ 10 in cash to tip her.
First of all, their mani and pedi combo was close to $ 40, even though the sign outside says 20% off, they didn’t give to me. Compare that to anywhere in Manhattan from $ 25 to $ 35, that’s already overpriced. Secondly, $ 10 tip was an over 20% tip, and she was making sure I saw her facial expression and body language changed from sunny to thunderstorming within 5 seconds after I gave the tip. As a result, I think she did a very poor job applying polish on my nails that I can see small bubbles under the polish. For those who’d been getting manicures forever, small bubbles means the polish was too thick and/​or nails were not clean. Apparently she’s too disgruntled about her $ 10 tip that she decided to do a poor job on applying the nail polish. Are you kidding me?
I definitely won’t be back.

This place is so fantastic! Complimentary massages (the woman massaging me was AMAZING) hot towels, water, hand/​lotion massage. I got a great gel manicure, she was super thorough and my nails look fabulous. Best place I’ve been yet. Highly recommend!

Today was horrid. There was a young mom forcing a little girl to sit still for mani/​pedi. So not relaxing for the other adults in the vicinity. I believe there are nail salon who specialize in kids. There was nothing serene or relaxing about the experience today.

I received a fantastic facial from Lana. She assesses your skin and provides services accordingly. I received microderm abrasion and it was wonderful! Lots of massage during the facial, very relaxing, and the result was incredible. I walked out with my skin glowing and dark spots already looking lighter– I felt comfortable not wearing make up to brunch that followed. Definitely recommend!

The best local nail salon in Dumbo. These ladies treat you like royalty. Been for facials all over the city at all price points, and Flora is really one of the best. European style facials that mean lots of massage and deep cleaning. Highly recommend.

Couldn’t be happier with my visit here — they really took care of me. They learned my name and called me by it, they suggested a color for my gel manicure which I ended up loving, and also assuaged my fears of gel manicures after my first (what I thought to be my last) experience getting one over a year ago and getting my nails filed down and ruined. They offer chair massages while getting your mani which is even better than it sounds! The massages are wonderful — and they even gave me 10% off for being a first time customer and a full size tube of green tea lotion as a gift. My gel manicure lasted a full two weeks with just one tiny chip to the side of one of the thumbs (and trust me, I abuse the crap out of my nails and being a nurse, wash my hands about two hundred times a day). And yes, they also do punch cards. I feel they could charge way more given the quality of their work and their location. The best sign was that there were two other ladies they were so sweet to and called by name as well — one of them brought cookies for them to show her appreciation.

I live in the neighborhood but was loyal for years to another salon and spa for my mani/​pedi/​massage needs until — well, whatever. I turned to Flora who I had heard so much praise from before. I walked in on a late Sunday night and they were more than willing to book me for a much-​needed hour long massage, deep tissue. Except it was a little too rough. And the whole process felt rushed. I hate to say it, but it was maybe the most unrelaxing massage I’ve ever had. The timer near my ear muffled any soothing music that played in the backdrop. And the masseuse kept bumping into the chair on the floor which only made things feel more harried. Not what you want when trying to forget about all kinds of stressors — like how I just threw $ 100 bucks away on a physically and emotionally painful experience. Ouch. *For the Record* I’ve heard David’s great, and Tony too. Should have read the reviews first.

I booked a slew of treatments here for my wedding because the location is very convenient for me. Although the facial was excellent, the torture of the manicure situation and aggressive sales techniques of the manager made this place impossible to return to.
I did spend extra time drying my spray tan (it was for my wedding so I didn’t want to take any chances) and the manager kept sticking her head in the room while I was naked to rush me out, even though she didn’t have anyone waiting for it! She then tried to charge me an extra $ 10. She kept pushing me to buy more items even when I told her no and had already spent almost $ 300.
When I came to get my nails done they claimed to know how to do silk wraps, but didn’t have a dremel! Anyone who knows, knows you must have one to offer this service. They tried to tell me it wasn’t needed. The guy spent 20 mins filing the powder on one finger, but it was so thick I had to go elsewhere and have them do the other 9 nails the day before my wedding. They later claimed he had just forgotten the tools! Why would you even attempt a process without the right tools?! Annoying, but not unforgivable.
However, when I returned from my honeymoon I wanted to get my tips removed before going back to work. I didn’t have time so I decided to give them one more shot. The manager helped me and mutilated my nails for an hour. Either her acetone was watered down or cheap, because she filed until my nail bed was red and still didn’t remove them. She kicked me out with them half removed and my fingers in excruciating pain because it was «taking too long». What? I uploaded a photo of the horror show that is my nails.
She tried to blame it on the other salon, but they hadn’t done anything out of the ordinary when putting them on. I have had tips and wraps many, many times and had them removed just as many, and I’d never experienced something like this.
I will never set foot in there again.

This place is my all-​time favorite salon for manis, pedis and massages. David, the masseuse, works magic! He has given me several massages and I will never be able to find someone as good as him! I practically refuse to pay for a massage anywhere else. Keshu does a fabulous job on manicures and pedicures. There are several other names I’m leaving out so I apologize. They all deserve the credit they’ve earned!
The staff is so friendly, accommodating and happy :-). They always remember my name and I feel so welcomed here every time I visit. It’s a neighborhood hot spot and they make you feel like family here. The prices are fantastic to boot. I highly recommend!

Amazing. Great selection of nail polish colors and they give you a little discount. :) best part was the complimentary massage– I was jealously watching another person get a 20 min massage and the massage guy came by and gave my friends and I massages that were amazing. Wonderful and relaxing. Cute set up as well! Wish I lived closer to come often! :)

This neighborhood spa is a great place. I go there on the regular and I’m never disappointed. From threading to waxing to facials to mani/​pedi, Christy is my go to esthetician. She always does a fantastic job and goes above and beyond.

I really like it here. Everyone is really nice and there is sometimes a discount, like 10 percent off. I have had pedicures with both Rina and Christy. I have also had a good facial with Christy. Nice option in Dumbo.

Very accomodating and great mani/​pedis. I get the shoulder massage as well, and it’s wonderful. Everyone is very nice, so it has quickly become my nail salon of choice.

I love this place! I work in the neighborhood and my co-​workers who come here love it too! I get mani/​pedis and they last at least two weeks no chipping, nice shape. Great customer service — they’ll hand you water, you get a little massage and it’s actually good. You get a punch card for going multiple times. They are also just very nice. Not over-​priced. Highly recommend! I never write reviews but have been so pleased had to.

This place is such a great neighborhood spa. I have only had my nails done, but they always do such a good job, and are very well priced. Rina is my fave, she is so gracious, helpful and thorough. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

The décor had not changed (unfortunately) but the management has.
the massage is what i usually go in for, but recently got a mani/​pedi from Maggie. She was so great. The nail polish is just now chipping 10 days later, regular Essie polish. i don’t know what kind of magic she worked!
Great service AND they have punch cards. so happy.

Two words. Nail fungus. On my fingers. Yuck. Never again.
