Hands Down… best fried fish in the East… I often go to get a simple fried whiting sandwich and it’s a bang for your Buck… Love It… highly recommended

This little hole in the wall spot has great freah soul food. The fried fish and shrimp isn’t greasy. The potato salad is yummy. Nice friendly staff. Management needs to get a bit more organized. Décor is lacking. So 4 stars is all that I can give

Pretty good… I came a little after noon which apparently was too early because the sides aren’t quite done yet I chose the fish sandwich on wheat… pretty good. Customer service was also good. I will be back to try what I really wanted… some Mac n cheese with collard greens

Fish was just disgusting… real fishy and not cleaned well, it made the fish taste nasty. Shrimp was OK. Fries could have been fried better. I heard there’s new management. I don’t know the old management but I’m not feeling this spot at all. I came in here Friday for the first time and that will be my last time. The server needs 2 be replaced with someone who actually has a clue about customer service.

Really a precious gem in the hood.
Locally owned the food is great!
Fresh fried fish shrimp chicken with sides like Mac n cheese collard greens sweet potatoes.
Reminds me of good southern home cooking. The food is perfectly seasoned every time. Please give it a try. You will not be disappointed.

A shabby looking spot but good food… so don’t judge a book by it’s cover! The fish and shrimps is a winner. Well seasoned and fried just to a golden perfection. The sides are good also. If your a mac-​n-​cheese person good luck getting some, it’s always the first to go. So stop by lunchtime to pick up dinner!
It can get smokey inside sometimes, if your looking from outside… but it’s ok, thats the deep fryers inside doing what they do best. The cook takes your order and gets right to work. It’s good to have these kind of dives nearby!
