100+ year old Epiphany church is a welcome oasis in a community that is changing much too fast. Being the sister church of the nearby Ss. Peter and Paul on south 2nd St., its parish is rather large, with most of its members having ties to the both the churches –and the community– that span generations. Father Rick Beuther, who heads the parish, is a tireless community advocate, organizing fundraisers, and youth groups, all the while maintaining a full Mass schedule at both churches in the parish. All residents, regardless of religious persuasion, would be well served to check in with either church in this parish.
