I got two roasted pig legs from this place for a work Christmas party last week. They were delicious and the price was right. My co-workers ate twelve pounds of pork! This place is paradise for pig-lovers.

I was here last night as I had about it from fro my neighbor, from their friend. has the feel of a spanish night club more so than a restaurant. upon eating there, I realized most patrons get take out, as I noticed I and my friend were the only ones eating there. while we were eating the place was dimly lit with green disco light lasers shooting around every where accompanied by really loud salsaesque music. I mean really loud. the waitress spoke little to no english. she messed up a few minor things, but it made for a humorous experience. none of this would really matter if the food was great, but rather it was eh. I dont think I’ll be back there anytime soon but I have to say that I did enjoy the novelty of the whole experience.

we NEED a DOMINICAN category, this is nueva york! the deluge of monsoon season made me wish for comfort food. and because i wished to remain as dry as a martini, i found this handy dandy menu and began to anticipate some dominican comfort food! ordering was easy; directions to my humble abode however, needed to be repeated 4 times. despite the directionally challenged aspects aforementioned, the food arrived in a timely manner. about the food: pernil– this was pretty good and even tastier the day after. chicken– my son liked it; i thought it wasn’t particularly special. arroz con gandules– spot on. habichuelas– reasonably good. maduros– a big disappointment. the maduros had an identity crisis, they appeared to have tostones tendencies as if confused and plucked and prepared in their youth. poor immature maduros with nary a sweet caramelized edge! all in all, it’s nice to have a semblance of choice.
