I’ve been taking my daughter to Destiny’s Kids for about 2 years now, and I must say the ladies there are highly professional. I came across this salon when another salon closer to my home out right refused to do my daughter’s hair because she wasn’t on the «list». even though there website did say walk ins are welcomed. I was accommodated by the owner and my daughter had her hair braided that day. The prices are pretty much the same as other kid salons that do similar work, but I do prefer this one because they TAKE APPOINTMENTS. which is greatly appreciated when it comes to kids.
Great work, favorable prices, and a huge time saver with appointment scheduling.

This is the best child’s salon in Brooklyn! The owner is such a kind person and all the hairstylists are great! My daughter has been going there for almost a year and whenever she goes she loves her hair!!! I hope they stay in business for a long time!

Took my 3 yo daughter there for an appt to get a wash and braided style. Shay (stylist)was great and did a style that i loved but more importantly was very patient with my daughter who has only had her hair braided once before. She even put curious george on Netflix which helped in keeping my little one somewhat still. I did witness 1 other stylist (Utopia) working there who did a really nice styles as well with added hair to the cornrolls. Hope this helps

I bring my daughter here in a monthly basis to get her hair braided and am always pleased. The staff are friendly, patient and work quickly. The best part is not having to worry about inappropriate language or conversations around her. The WiFi is an added perk and the only reason I don’t give this place 5 stars is because they are cash only which can be a hassle at times
