When I decided to walk way out of my way based on the one previous review, I knew I was testing my luck, but this shop lived up to it’s great (if not well publicized) reputation. They have a great selection. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly, knowledgeable, and made some great recommendations. I was picking up cigars for a bachelor party (yes I’m a girl) and don’t know a thing about cigars. But the ones he helped me choose were a hit. I wasn’t pushed to get the most expensive ones, the guy there really listened to what I was looking for and chose appropriately. Much appreciated!
Bottom line: great selection, great service, and well priced.

Friendly staff, good selection, decent prices. As new cigar-​enthusiasts, New Star is just the place to go to ask my questions and try a varied selection of inexpensive to «whoa» cigars. They also carry other things in their half-​convenience-​store setup. So you can pick up a cigar, some drinks, and a magazine and have yourself quite the chill evening! P. S. They are open 6am-​12 midnight

Very impressed with the selection, one of the best in the area. The service is very good as well. Location is great and I think they are open 24 hours.. The prices are very reasonable as well. This has become my regular smoke shop.

I don’t smoke much these days, but I picked up a brass zippo lighter for barbecues, bonfires and friends-​in-​need.
