Worst pharmacy ever. Always a long line, always a problem, always an inconvenience. No regard for patient confidentiality, as they will ask personal questions loudly and blurt out personal information. No compassion for sick people. I learned my lesson and now go to the CVS by Kings Plaza on Ave. U, which is much, much better.

Atrocious customer service. You’ll die waiting for your medication. Dumb bitch needs one hour to fill 3 prescriptions.

I usually thrive on writing poor reviews about Rite Aid — because, it’s Rite Aid. The most poorly mismanaged, poorly-employed pharmacy chain(at least in New York). Although CVS tends to be a bit more expensive than their biggest competitors, I always choose to go because 1) its not Rite Aid and 2) the self-automated checkouts are great. This CVS, though maybe not ‘the’ outlier of CVS’ — is a poor, broken down example of what I like about the chain. One my biggest complaints: you can always rely on a long line at the pharmacy section, with the staff showing little to no regard for efficiency. One time I was second in line behind a couple that was speaking with the pharmacist behind the counter. She was speaking to them in a foreign language(one that I happen to also speak). For about 7 minutes or so, they spoke about nothing. She paid no mind to me or the rest of the line. After seeing my burnt-red, angry mug — she finally called another staff member over to help. Fortunately for me, this staff member was terribly unaware of how to do her job; let alone how to work the register. She couldn’t even find the item I was seeking to purchase(even though I was pointing at it). No, seriously. She had to then go seek out another member of this fine, muddled establishment to help her. In other news, the self-automated checkout counters that I yearn for have been in complete disrepair. Every time I ring up an item, I have to call a staff member over to authorize it and override the shit-for-brains system. The slogan here?: «Shop on Amazon»

For a 24hrs Pharmacy this Cvs is the absolute worst. The wait is always long and the staff is not professional at all.

If you want a headache, go to this store. The only positive is that the pharmacy is 24⁄7. Otherwise this store is absolutely a freakin nightmare always.

Good place. Has a great parking lot! Open 24⁄7. Has self checkout. Good sales but quickly sells out or didn’t have enough stock.

Been one of my go to pharmacies since moving to the neighborhood! Open 24 hours and has a parking lot, not as good as the Avenue U CVS but it’s in such a convenient location and I’ve had little to no problems with this location. The one thing I have a gripe with is their express checkout(not just this location, all of them)! The stupid thing never senses when you put an item in the bag! Whether it’s something heavy or light, you have to basically slam it in the bag or it stops you from scanning the next item… so annoying! What I wind up doing is using one heavier item and picking it up and putting it back down so it lets me continue. Anyway…I like it here and they always are stocked, their seasonal section is a little smaller than other locations but that’s not why I go here Shop with confidence just look out for those stupid express checkout sensors!

For general things, I like going here. I especially love the self checkout. The pharmacy is a whole other story. I always wait forever on line there. If I could give the pharmacy 1 star, I would.

This CVS location has a convenient location with a parking lot, but many times when I’ve come in looking for something particular(a certain shampoo, a kind of band-aid, a brand of eyedrops) I don’t find it. The floor staff range from mildly helpful to absolutely disinterested. I have better luck at Rite Aid and Duane Reade. The times when I’ve used the CVS pharmacy department I’ve felt the service was just adequate. The pharmacy counter people interact with customers as minimally as possible – not nasty but not friendly. Meh.

Great CVS! Pros: They have a self check out station! Quick! Fast! Done! Cons: They’re always mobbed at this location and usually have only one open register. Therefore, I love the self check out, a must at this CVS. Big selection. Great sales. Kodak photo center. Coupons! PARKINGLOT !!!

I had a very unpleasant experience today. I approached the counter to make a purchase. Sarah was standing there, observing(not helping) the customers at the self-checkout terminals. I asked her if someone was manning the counter and she very rudely said, «No.». I said, «How can that be? There must be someone.» She said, «I don’t have a register». I asked for the manager. She said, «He walked away». She then pointed toward the the photo technician, and I approached her. The technician was obviously annoyed: She did not greet me, she rolled her eyes at me, and upon completing my transaction she did not thank me. It seems from the other posts here that I am not the only one who feels that shopping there is an unpleasant experience. I will take my business elsewhere.

Like most other CVS Stores, you can usually find the basics here. However, the pharmacy is one of the rudest CVS Pharmacies I’ve ever been to. There are some nice pharmacists there, buut they’re overshadowed by the insolent and incompetent ones. I’m only taking off two stars for them, because the rest of the employees in the store work hard and are friendly.

It’s a good pharmacy but the store itself is a bit disorganized. The lines can be very long and the self check out machines can be of no help and a little bit uncomfortable when the employees are starring at you with eagle eyes instead of cleaning a messy store.
