Highest marks for Ken & his crew! I called them on Thursday for a Friday morning appointment to install a rear view mirror back up cam on my 2012 Nissan Altima. Ken’s quote was cheaper than the local installer and the Unilocal reviews were stellar, so I made an appointment for 9:30am the next day. I drove over from Staten Island and met with Ken who detailed the work to be done. He estimated 3hrs to complete. I asked about a backup cam/​navigation system installation, but it was out of my budget. Ken said the rear view cam would do the trick and my cellphone GPS or a garmin unit would be an economical substitute.
The other Unilocal reviews raved about their window tint, so I requested 50% for all windows. I took a walk, had brunch along 5^th Ave, and, as scheduled, Ken said my car was ready before 1pm.
The mirror looked great! The image was sharp and the superimposed guidelines were helpful. Ken removed the original mirror and replaced it with the back up cam mirror. No wires visible and the camera was hard wired right above the license plate. Very professional installation. Ken also explained that wireless cameras are somewhat unreliable. The only observation I have is that the camera itself is easily bumped. It’s easy enough to adjust, but I’d prefer if it were set in place and immovable. The more serious issue is glare. On sunny days, the bright reflection makes the reverse cam difficult to view. It takes a little getting used to; maybe I need to point the mirror downwards during sunny days. The mirror itself is great, just be wary on sunny days.
Here’s another plus: Ken gave me his card, wrote up a receipt on back and said there’s a 1-​year warranty for his services. If I accidentally scratch the tint, that’s understandably on me. But if the camera is faulty or if the tint bubbles up, he’ll take care of it. Ken also placed «do not use’ stickers on all window controls and warned me that the tint takes 2 – 3 days to cure. I just removed the stickers today and look forward to rolling down the windows tomorrow.
My compliments to Ken and his crew at Creative Audio. My dad saw the back up cam this weekend and asked me to make an appointment to install the same in his Accord after Thanksgiving. It’s true that the best promotion is professional, quality work and word of mouth from satisfied customers.

Kenny installed my backup camera and remote starter for my older Explorer. He explained all the choices, brands and options. They do great work here and it didn’t take long at all. When I hung around the shop the guys even asked if I wanted in on ordering lunch! Friendly and the work was excellent. The prices were definitely reasonable too… lower than any other shop that gave me quotes.

Called ahead and talked to Kenny to schedule an appointment for tints and clear bra wrap on a bumper. No need to repeat what’s already been said but these guys are experienced and take their work seriously. They are very detailed orientated and did a spot on job… Couldn’t be more satisfied.

Just got my head unit and back up cam installed by Kenny. Clean and thorough. pays attention to detail. I made the mistake of not making an appointment but he took me in and finish the job the same day. Excellent work and honest. He’s my number 1 guy for car audio work. Keep up the good work guys!

I actually stumbled upon Kenny’s shop through Unilocal.I knew what I wanted but heard horror stories about places. Kenny had a some good write-​ups here on Unilocal so I called him. He was easy to talk with on the phone and was able to fit me in same day. Plus price was in the ball park of what I expected.
The shop had a wide array of cars inside. My job was a simple Alarm/​remote start and Tint — but you can see they specialize in all things automotive. Kenny was great! Not pushy — and worked with me to see what I wanted and really needed. His crew was great and does the job right. His main focus is keeping the customer happy — and will gladly give him my business again in the future.

I found Kenny by luck when the guy who usually does my cars wasn’t available. Now Kenny is my guy because he did such an incredible job on my wife’s car installing 3m plastic around the bumpers & doors. Price was more than fair & the quality of work was excellent ! He wouldn’t let me leave until we went over the entire car to make sure that I was happy. Also gave me a warranty in writing with was never given to me by anybody else prior to me doing this to my cars over the last 15 years. I highly recommend him for any type of specialty work you might need on your car !

Came from Staten Island, called ahead several times to confirm I’m coming. Upon Arrival, I asked for Ken, and was told he’s on the phone, after waiting about 10 minutes, Kenny comes out still on the phone, no hand shake, no eye contact, hangs up phone and picks up another call, while I’m waiting. After he’s finally was done with his phone, I showed him the camera I wanted installed, and asked how long it would take, Kenny said, hold on, I’ll be right back and left. I waited another 5 minutes, to no avali, and as my time is certainly not less precious then Ken’s, I left to take care of more important matters.
I find it quite rude and disrespectful the way this experience went, despite me coming all the way from Staten Island. Will look elsewhere for someone more professional and serious at what they do and how they handle their customer service. All the other reviews looked good, so I didn’t expect this, nevertheless, this was my experience, and yes, I have very high expectations when I’m paying for quality work and service.

I just had the tint on my 14 Maxima done by Ken and he did a flawless job at a great price. I look forward to getting more work done by him.

Called in 5 days ago to do tinting on my vehicles. Kenny was quick to assure me that they use high quality film and made an appointment as well, I decided to go with Johnson’s, they came with lifetime warranty and The price was not bad for two front windows. 9am I’m here and they are already busy with work. It didn’t take long for an older white gentlemen with glasses to get to my vehicle and start his magic. This place is legit. Although there isn’t a lot of room for a massive amount of cars, it had 5 vehicles inside including mine. I was peeking on the work being done on my car and heard «f***» it wasn’t loud but I was close enough to hear haha. At first I thought something happened, but fingers started appearing from the tints. Usually when the window is curved so the worker picks up a heat gun and got to work. I can tell they work on quality and not speed, because the worker is still tacking down the edges and heating the part to make sure it’s perfect. Definitely bringing all my vehicles here for tints.

Kenny and the team are great! Brought in my 2015 Dodge Ram crew cab. Installed a ton of mods and they were able to answer everything honestly. I didn’t feel like they were just trying to rip me off. If you’re looking for a shop that will get the job done right and not charge you an arm and a leg. Go see Kenny!

Ken is such a great guy and also very easy to approach.
After getting a great quote for remote start on my Lexus IS250, I made an appointment immediately. I walked in on him while he was putting tints on a lexus RX and was very impressed of how well and fast he did his job.
He installed our remote start on our factory key fob within an hour! Not only did he give me the best price but his service was on point. Its hard to find a shop as great as this.
I was afraid of «getting what you pay for» service but I’m happy to say, you actually get more than what you pay for. I got exactly what i wanted and am highly satisfied with his work. Will def be back for more. Thank you, Ken,

Kenny did a great job on my tints for my 2015 Ford Fusion. I used to go to Tint n Tunes but after reading recent negative reviews from there, I didn’t know where to go. I called a friend of mine who recommended Kenny from Creative. I looked at all the great reviews and called the place.
I called Kenny around 10:45 am asking if I can drop my car off in the morning. I apologized for not having an appointment and for not calling in advance. He told me no problem to bring the car in right away.
At 1:00pm (with no appointment scheduled and I was practically a stranger off the street) Kenny called me to say it was ready. Now that is service! I picked my car up and the tints looked great. The price was a little above average but listen you pay for quality. Lifetime guarantee. Good quality.
Kenny is very nice, approachable, and provides personal service. I will def go back there for my next car’s tints.

Kenny did an amazing job on my pickup truck. He installed a great set of Pioneer door speakers and a pre-​amped pancake kicker under the passenger seat for me.
He also hooked up the use of my factory Sirius/​XM antenna and reprogrammed my ASWC steering wheel control box for me to correct issues from my initial installation my friend had done for me.
Him and his crew are very knowledgeable/​friendly guys. As one person had said in a previous review, there really isn’t many audio shops out there who take pride and integrity in the work they do.

I found this place on Unilocal on my quest to get some extra bass in my car. All I can say is Kenny’s the man. He had the sound system put in within 2 hours (no appointment). I didn’t write a review then, because I know better than to write a review right after an electronic purchase. Like clockwork my sub died! I brought it in and Kenny got me a brand new one fully installed no questions asked.
I later found that this was due to a short that happened from my ballasts for HID lights. Kenny traced it back to the lights and switched them out as well. He noticed my car making sounds when going in reverse and pinpointed it to my newly installed Catback which was hitting my swaybar. I got this confirmed with another mechanic and both were spot on.
I was so happy with Kenny’s service, honesty and knowledge of electronics, I decided to give him my radar detector for installation. He took it apart, hard wired it, included a light bean near the AC vent on the driver side, a mute switch in the ashtray, and a kill switch under the hood. This was done in 1 hour!
He knew right off the bat who installed my laser jammers and told me what I could do to fine tune them (without trashtalking his competitor).
Needless to say, 1 year later and I am scheduling to install my rear laser jammers, remote start, and Viper alarm from Kenny.
Great shop — highly recommended.

Doing a restoration on a 1987 Ford Mustang GT, brought the car to Ken for a system and he winded up installing a new interior all leather, new seat belts and carpet throughout, new locks and keys for the whole car, and much much more… He fixed everything broken and then installed an unbelievable crystal clear stereo system, new speakers and a perfect sub. He also installed a great alarm system with motion detectors and auto start. His work was neat, the car was delivered back to me on time without a problem, this guy Ken knows his stuff and i would never bring a car anywhere else, and beyond everything his budget was way better then i thought.

Went here 6÷9÷14 to change my head unit, fix my speakers and get a new sub woofer. The owner (Ken) is a nice young man and will help you with whatever you need. His henchmen and apprentice are good workers behind him. If you need your headlights restored just ask for his apprentice. He had my headlights looking brand new again after 9 years of having my RSX. Overall I would go here again if I needed anything audio related. Thanks.

I was doing research on alarm shops and did not want any old audio place to rig it up on my box. Decided to give Creative a call and owner Ken picked up, he explained to me about different alarms and we decided that I purchase a unit myself and he’ll just charge me for labor.
Ken is really a car enthusiast, I used to like the whole Asian import mod scene when I was in college and can tell he knows his stuff. He showed me some project cars he’s been working on and instantly I thought I made a new friend.
His prices are super reasonable and never does he differentiate you by what car you have. During my install he was working on a 6 series and an Escalade, granted my car is worth 10% of that. He made sure I was well taken care of.
I think he’s found a customer for life, anything audio, security and tinting.

There aren’t that many audio shops for cars with people whom take pride and integrity in the work they do. This store is something special.
I found them on Unilocal.Just to see what kind of job they do, I first had them installed a pair of LED headlights to my wrangler. Watching the technician carefully installing the lights, the harness using protective housings and neatly tucking the hardness away… Etc. It was a clean and professional install done with care as if it was their own car!
I was impressed and satisfied with the light installation so I had Kenny (shop owner) install an amp and custom make a sub enclosure for my honda Fit.
It came out great! The enclosure looks OEM! Took up minimal space in the car and most important of all, since Kenny personally tunes the equalizer for you, my little honda fit sounds 1000% better than what I had originally. If you live in the 5 borough area and are looking for a shop that does real professional grade work and cares about your car then this is the place to be!
