Chaitty Coffee Shop

Allie is a great resource for finding out where things are and what’s going on. I told her in conversation that i was looking for a job, she gave me a suggestion on where to look and i did find a part-​time job that pays pretty decent. She is friendly and her coffee is the most! GO!

I work on the weekends and I was Looking for a good coffee shop. I found with the help of Unilocal,a little place with friendly owner, Allí working on the weekend. I ordered a Chai latte and a brownie and it was really really good. The menu is simple and to the point and that’s a good thing. This café is very promising, just wish the hours were a little longer so I could come by after work other than that A+.

This little hidden gem is a great place to chill.
Good coffee, WiFi and great staff. Oh, and it’s cozy cute. In other words, it’s perfect.
Good things come in small packages. That’s how I got my girl (That and lots of begging). I wish more coffee joints like this were around in this area, but I suspect in the next few years there will be. I lived near here once and come back often and when I do move back, I’ll be a regular here.

This little coffee/​tea shop has some of the best customer service in the borough! When I inquired about soy and coconut milk, I was assured they offer both and my order was filled promptly, politely and efficiently. The coffee was fresh and hot and I was so glad to have the dairy alternatives available.
The only piece of constructive criticism I would offer is that the baked goods were a little dry and stale.
I’m glad they are in my neighborhood and I will definitely visit them frequently in the future.

had a great time here. The shop catered to a book club meeting that I had. Smoothies are great, and so is the Chai. There is currently a check in deal. pastry was good as well. definitely will be back.

I’ve been to Chiatty 3 times since recently moving into the neighborhood. As a tea lover I was thrilled to be introduced to the Art of Tea green pomegranate which the owner took from the container and put in a little bag for a fresh brew. She offered me raw organic honey. The tea is delicious hot and cold– yes, the tea is very concentrated and I had a 2^nd cup with cold water. I’d make a nice lemonade or ice tea with this tea flavor. It’s not an extremely intense flavor, I’d even say this is a mild tea — I’m used to pure ginger root mixed with water so this is a totally different animal. I’m strongly considering this tea for a batch of green tea pistachio muffins :)
Nice comfortable atmosphere where you can sit down, relax and learn more about things going on in the community.

Had really high hopes for this place because we are in desperate need for a coffee shop in the area. The coffee was cold and tasteless and there were no pastries available. Guess I will still be hiking to another neighborhood to get my coffee

Alice and the coffee shop are a great addition to the neighborhood. Just what I need a smiling face sans the attitude. Chai latte is good too!
