Very nice and clean salon. Blow outs are at a decent price ($ 35) Try to get there on time and/​or early. Friday and Saturday’s are for sure their busiest days. All of the ladies are not only very nice, but very talented! Highly recommended.

I spotted a very stylish woman in a restaurant who had a great haircut so I asked her where she had it done. She highly recommended Patricia, the owner of Center Stage in Greenpoint. I checked out their website and the Unilocal reviews and saw they were open on Monday. After stopping by, I made an appointment for later in the day. I was greeted warmly, offered a drink, enjoyed the head massage with my shampoo, and taken on time. So far, I have received several compliments and more importantly, I am so pleased with my new look. What a find– I will definitely return.

Just got my hair cut for the Holidays and I couldnt be more thrilled with the way it looks.
First off– I walked in and got a warm welcome. Put my jacket away, offered me coffee/​tea/​water, and got me seated right away.
Secondly– Got the best wash. It was the perfect amount of massage and relaxation while keeping in mind I dont have all day to spend in the salon (come on, we live in NYC! lol)
Thirdly– My cut fits my face perfectly! It was all one length– now I have layers (only in the front) that fall around my cheek bones giving me a natural yet hip-​city-​chick look.
SO IN LOVE! Thank you soooo much!
…maybe now ill get a kiss under the mistletoe? ;) ;)

I love this salon!
I’ve been coming here for several years and I swear by Agnes (Agnieszka). She always gives me the best hair cuts and by far the best highlights I’ve ever had and I’ve been highlighting my hair for 12+ years.
Aside from their ability to style/​cut/​dye hair, this is the friendliest salon. They always say hello, take you coat, offer you a drink… It is a pleasure coming here. I come from Rego Park/​Forest Hills and it is well worth my trip.
Finally this salon is so convenient. They recently instituted an on-​line appointment system on their website
which makes them THAT much more convenient. They accept credit cards and if you don’t have cash for tips they will charge the tip on your card and provide you with cash. I am ALWAYS asking them to do this for me.
I’ve been sending everyone I can here because they are really the best.
Also, as a side note — Peter Pan bakery is about two blocks away — it’s always nice to go there for a little treat after getting your hair done :)

Love this place, have been going for years. Patricia is hands down the best stylist for curly hair! Prices are extremely reasonable. Well worth the trip to BK!

These ladies have real talent. After stumbling upon this place 8 years ago I’ve never gone anywhere else. I prefer Patricia for the haircut, and Dory for color — but honestly, everyone there is amazing. There’s even a friendly salon cat!

I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but this time I really had to! My color came out so terrible I had to get it fixed at a different salon ASAP. Not one person could say it looked okay– thats when you know things realllllly went wrong. It was the exact opposite of what I asked for, too. I will definitely not come back or recommend this place to anyone.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I have been going to this salon since the age of 16, then i started to get my hair colored with highlights and lowlights and back and forth. One time for my 20^th bday i wanted to switch things up and do to a different salon (HUGE MISTAKE) this lady had no clue what she was doing. short story my hair looked gray and under the light green!!! (i cried) Patricia fixed my hair 2 days later to what i really wanted. And ever since then i have been getting my hair done by Patricia. She is amazing!!! i trust her so much with my hair and i am so comfortable with her that she can do what she wants. she can even cut it the way she wants to. and she’s so good at what she does that i look amazing and thats a rare thing to find in a hair salon. I’m always happy when I leave there, and thats what keeps me coming back. and i love the way she styles my hair, and there is another girl that styled my hair twice I believe her name is Marta, and then my friend gets her hair done by Aga and then my other friend goes to Kamila. So basically everyone that works there is amazing so its worth a try, you seriously have nothing to loose and everything to gain. the place is amazing and the staff is so nice and sweet! and if you don’t want to get your hair done then at least go buy the hair spray that they sell. i have gone thru a lot of hair sprays in my life time and i swear by this one. and its not that expensive I’ve spent around 30 $ and they didn’t even work. Don’t quote me on the price but i believe it’s between 17 – 22 $.

i love this place. i have curly hair and always have trouble finding a place that does an amazing job. all of the stylists i’ve had there do a great job.

The minute I walked in these ladies were quite attentive and very helpful as far as consulting me right away. I appreciated the fact that I was a simple walk in with no appt. but they took the time to service me politely and understood exactly what I wanted to do with my hair. The owner was one of the consultants and she hit it right on the nail when it came to the color and look I wanted. I recommend this place not only because of their professionalism but they actually know what they are doing and they do it in a friendly fashion. It’s your old school Hair Salon in regards to service with a new modern twist. Very well kept Hair Salon and super nice people.

If you’re looking for a salon that will give you beautiful hair, you should check this place out. I’ve been the once for a cut (great!) and a few times for color — golden blonde with highlights (love!).
I’ve tried almost every salon in Williamsburg, and nothing compares! The prices are very reasonable, and the people are extremely nice.
Center Stage Hair Salon is a hidden gem — not in the center of B-​burg, but close enough — a few doors down from Five Leaves.
