Walked in to a bunch of old men watching tv and playing cards. We got there around 2 pm and there was no one dining there. The tables were not set up and it was still piled up. I should’ve left when I had the chance but I wanted to give it a try. I ordered a chicken parmigiana sandwich and it was soooo bad! It was bland tasting and the bread was so hard to bite into. The barista made our food because he said the cook was not in yet. Wouldn’t dare come back again!

I have not eaten inside the restaurant but I do order via often. I am rather far and they deliver all the way to Coney Island so I do not blame the 1 – 1.5hr delivery time. However there was one time they forgot my order but the manager quickly righted the wrong and personally delivered my order to my door. They know how to delivery right. When you order fried food such as calamari for two it comes crispy as if it just came out of the fryer, not soggy like the diner which delivers to me from 10 blocks away. I will continue ordering my delivery from here and will try to eat in the restaurant sometime too!

So, I just waited over 2 hours for my food. Gave the restaurant a call only for the manager to let me know that they opened late. I said, «Ok, so is it on it’s way.» No it isn’t, they cancelled my order without even letting me know. He said they had to do the same thing to another order but he couldn’t extend all two of us the courtesy of a call. Shame, the food was ok. Will never be ordering again.

Major let down… I ordered the pastrami sandwich and when it came it was not even edible. the meat looked like cheap cold cuts you get in a plastic container at the grocery store(Not what i was expecting) It also tasted nothing like pastrami… The pieces of meat smelled and tasted like straight up vinegar. I never experienced something like that in my life. It’s really a shame because the sandwich was huge and I had to throw that all away. My boyfriend and I ordered macaroni salad but after one taste of the macaroni… had to throw that out too… spoiled beyond belief. The only things that were decent enough to eat were the chicken cutlets. They were nothing special, but we ate a few bites any way. The fries resembled the ones that came with a hot lunch in high school. extremely greasy. I’m glad I got that out of the way and just tried this place once. because now I will never want there food ever again.

Im accustomed to restaurants closing late, in this neighborhood 9 o’clock is pretty much last call. Weekends, café on the hill DELIVERS until at least 12AM(maybe a lil later) but the food is no joke! Im not talking about anything fancy, and its not exactly too affordable but hell, I’m happy to pay for the service and quality. French fries here rock, menu is a diverse and moderately classy, I wanna say american, italian, brooklyn.

This place is a jewel of Brooklyn. The food is priced just right and the food is ridiculous. We had a grilled chicken sandwich and a baked ziti for delivery. It took about 30 minutes to arrive as was estimated by grub hub. The delivery guy came up to my apartment to deliver which is very nice. The food was amazing, cooked and seasoned absolutely perfect. The sandwich was chicken, lettuce, and tomato on rye. It was so simple, but so good. Definitely order or go here.
