I eat a lot of fast food so take this rating from the perspective of what one would expect from a fast food place. With that said… one star is generous. The place is filthy, has broken/out lights. Food order wrong and they failed to fix it even when I pointed it out. Cold fries. They had one of the fancy mix-and-match Coke machines. I say had because it’s now behind the register and they made it for you … And you no longer can have any soda combinations. Go next door to 5 guys(or anywhere else) but don’t go here. I’m amazed they don’t have a ‘C’ health inspection rating.

Since I occasionally visit this particular Burger King in my neighborhood I might as well Unilocal it up. There is a split between this establishment and Popeye’s Chicken and the interesting thing I always find about that is you can get a couple of the cheaper burgers here and then slide right over to get some chicken tenders if you are craving them. It’s a good use of the space for sure even though I am well aware of the BK chicken offerings. When I do come in here its to sample one of their specials for the purpose of (one of my most used apps next to Swarm) since I am really trying to eat less of this kind of fare and get a more healthy regimen on for myself, but there are times when one desires to be bad and I have always preferred their cheeseburgers to that of McDonald’s. Sorry Ronald. The staff is young and usually pleasant enough which is nice to see but there are times when some of them look like they’re on the last good nerve. They appear patient with the older customers who are not too sure about what they want and I just do my best to give them a smile since I know how thankless this kind of job can be based on some of the clientele that comes in. Spatially speaking the side for BK offers a handful of tables but there is a larger upstairs space which is also used by the Popeye’s spot. Every time I have been up there its been clean which is a bonus. I have never examined their bathroom facility so cannot speak to it. Tastewise everything I have ever gotten here has passed the test but of course you know does not look exactly like the photograph we always see. What a joke that is across the board on all fast food chains. Simply put if you are shopping around 86th Street in Bay Ridge you have an alright spot to rest and refuel.

A prime example of why fast food workers should not receive $ 15 an hour. I arrive at the front of the line and Retaj, the cashier, looks through me like I’m invisible and just leaves. She comes back shortly to stand next to me with a ream of soda lids which she proceeds to stack slower than hair growing. I wait, and wait, and wait, and finally ask her for the manager so I can place an order. She sleepily calls out to a coworker who rushed over to take my order. Poor guy, he was expediting and ordering alone thanks to her incompetence. I eat and breathe a wary sigh as I return to order something to go. Who do I encounter at the register? Retaj! Great so I order a number 3 which she rings in while looking behind me, never fully making eye contact. I pay. She then proceeds to ask me if I ordered a number 1. I look at her and ask, «are you being funny?» She repeats, «number 1?» I say slowly«I ordered a number 3.» She giggles and says«oh yeah». Luckily it’s correct on my receipt. While another girl is expediting, she’s staring at the sauces and flirting with 2 guys. She might be high.

Absolutely horrible burger king. Always has sticky floors. Soda machines frequently messed up or missing flavors. All employees I dealt with were very rude and you can tell everyone here absolutely hates their job. Had several people ask me for money while eating. Generally many creepy people here, have to deal with creepy homeless people staring at my girlfriend constantly. Don’t come to this place. Go somewhere else instead.

Fries apple pies consistently cold. Even if you tell them to «make sure the fries are hot» they will consistently forget. They can also be confused with coupon deals. This is what happens when you have non-english speakers work there. This is burger king not seven eleven!

I stopped going here completely. They really need to learn how to switch their menus over when breakfast is“over”(put quotes around over, because it’s always still during breakfast time). Twice I’ve gone in and it’s been the breakfast menu up, so I’ve ordered breakfast, and they tell me, «Oh, we’re only serving lunch now.» Okay, so do you have a paper menu, then, since I have no idea what your menu is if it’s not posted? After past history with these guys being rude and lazy, I’m totally over it.

Burger King is fine, Good service, decent food as per fast food, and the like. But this review isn’t about BK. It’s about POPEYE’S.(I couldnt find the page for Popeye’s so I’m just doing it here.) I came here last Friday, May 30th, With 2 friends. It took half an hour to 45 minutes to get our food. It was cold. I got an allergic reaction to this particular Popeye’s, This hasn’t happened in the other Popeye’s I’ve been to. I don’t know why it happened, But that’s one of the reasons I’m never eating here again. Fries were cold, Biscuit was so hard, It was like a rock. The cashier looked INSANELY unpleasant and gave me attitude because they«ran out» of ranch sauce and I had trouble deciding what other sauce I wanted with my chicken.(I’m very picky) I don’t typically run into fast food places that are as bad as this, And I think that’s saying something. I’ve very rarely encountered such a bad place. I’m never coming here anytime soon and if I do, It’s for Burger King. NOT Popeye’s.

Worst service ever! There was only two families ahead of us in line, yet it took us over 20 minutes just to put our order in.

Burger King? More like Little Pakistan. This is the ONLY Burger King where people who order take out complain of smaller portions – I mean where in America do they cut the size of fries in half knowing most customers won’t check? Avoid these cockroaches by all means. Not fit for Bay Ridge.

My experience could of been better. I’ve been using the online delivery service for some time and every time there seems to be some mess up if its not forgetting to add things I PAIDFOR its them standing out side the apt building saying they are out side but in reality they are out side the building on the street standing as if I have to walk out and get it. Thats not what I paid + tipped for. I do crave a burger now and again and while I’ll still order I don’t think i’ll tip until I see an improvement. with the staffs lazy do nothing behavior. foods as bit pricey for such small portions but it doesn’t taste bad.

This burger king is awesome. why? because there is a POPEYES there also! two of my favorite fast food places in ONE spot. OOH and they have the cool touch screen soda dispensers. I know they have those in the city but I’ve never seen one in Brooklyn before so I was pretty amazed lol

Consistently grotesque. Repeatedly the worst fast-food experience I succumb to in Bay Ridge. Its so bad it makes the McDonalds on 73rd&3rd look like a palace. There’s so much wrong about this place I usually never let my thoughts dwell on it; usually put it out of my mind as soon as its over – but I’m forcing myself to regard this mess long enough right now – to give it the stinging review it deserves. First, the food I order is always handed to me cold. Like room temperature cold. Can I get a hot meal here just once? Next: sorry, but Its a dirty restaurant. Sticky floors and tables. Never swept enough. You need to bring handi-wipes if you sit down to eat here. What is up with the lighting? Its lit like the inside of a state institution. Is it something designed to keep tables turning over? Its burning and wearing on your retinas. The tiny, discouraging, ‘people-maze’ in front of the counter; actually hampers customer flow to order and receive food. Looks like something that was ‘mandated’ to be installed. Result: it just makes you feel sub-human, is all it does. An overall narrow and cramped store; and the orange color scheme doesn’t help. You feel like you want to race out of there after two minutes. Its incredibly uncomfortable and unsettling to the eyes. Orange floors; orange walls; orange uniforms. Crammed with banners and placards and promotions and advertisements and radio blurbs at all times. How can people relax enough to EAT a MEAL in here? Its surreal and nightmarish. The ridiculous space-age soda machines, like from the set of the old ‘Lost in Space’. Disturbing. «100 Drink choices»? Really? All dispensed from some unseen set of machinery hidden in a menacing, upright, oblong chassis. With a touch-screen. My god! Phony technology is so often pushed at consumers when what it is really doing is hiding a rip-off. Do you really want a computer dispensing your soda? Do you really want ‘not to know’? Finally: the customers. Perhaps this Burger King is so abysmal because its the reflection of who comes in here to eat. Sorry but only the most revolting, tasteless, loud, spazzing hordes of chattering, rude, pushy, gutter trash, skulk through these doors. The imbecility is off the scale. Depressing. How do they cross intersections safely? How do they avoid electrocuting themselves with their kitchen toasters every morning? When I was a kid, a Burger King was a pretty reliable place. They were low key and subdued and actually kind of restful. They were the good guys compared to McDonald’s and the freaky red clown. Now I don’t know what Burger King is about. If this is representative of typical Burger Kings –if they’re all this bad – I will stick with food carts on the sidewalk.

Not a huge fan of fast food but I figured I give these guys a try. Food is basically what I expected. Greasy, unhealthy, and gave me a stomach ache when I finished my meal. No more fast food for me.

Who would’ve thought a Burger King could be a community pillar? This place has the friendliest management, is super clean, and very fast and efficient. When available, the manager Daryl goes out of his way to make customers feel welcome and accommodated.

Not bad. It’s a pretty decent sized Burger King. What makes it special is that the space is shared with Popeye’s Chicken. So you can get two different things to make your own meal. Plus the fountain drinks are outside which means unlimited refills. This is RARE in NYC and in Brooklyn. Take advantage of that!

This is some good fast food. Fresh hot fries and a delicious double stacker on a Tuesday at noon while I wait for my car to get an oil change Service is lightning quick and friendly, the restaurant has some new Orleans art on the walls because it is shared with popeyes
