Brooklyn Brush Studios

This place is great. I love this space. It is always kept very clean. There is always a variety of different art shows and events going on. Great community to be apart of. There are photographers, painters, production companies and many more creative types. I even get my packages delivered to BBS with there great concierge service. I highly recommend being a part of this space. It feels like a second home. Go BBS!

I’ve been in this place for several months, and I never want to leave. The management is on-​point — Rafael & co are amazing. They’re always there to help you out when you need it. All of the public spaces are impeccably clean and inviting. They also take the time to organize some awesome events, where you can mingle and meet other artists. This creates a great vibe and a wonderful sense of community.

Regularly cleaned. Professional. Management and team that listen. That’s for starters. Not sold? Freight elevator. 2 blocks from Jefferson Street stop on the L train. Free conference room. Dining area with microwave and Keurig coffee maker * it’s BYO Keurig packet though :) Free Wi-​Fi. Packages handled by a great office manager.
Thought I’d start with the basics. Check the map around the area. You’ll find places like the Rookery and Mominette Bistro. Loads of coffee shops and bars for different price ranges. A fully stocked mini-​grocer w/​sushi and a large variety of crackers near the L train main entrance near the front of the train. A Key Food and Post Office about 7 blocks away.

Brooklyn Brush Studios is amazing!!! The space is perfect, the staff is incredible, the common areas are clean, and the tenants creative and respectful. I have been renting a studio space for almost a year and love it. I was at a different location before Brooklyn Brush and it’s a world of difference. The community is just amazing. Everyone is so creative, it’s just an incredible atmosphere.

I am a freelance graphic designer and painter and have been a member of BBS 362 (Jefferson location) for about 8 months. The management is really on top of things: the common areas/​kitchen/​bathrooms are always clean, any issue is resolved efficiently and with a smile, and there is someone available to sign for packages during business hours, which is extremely helpful. The studios have thick walls so you don’t have to worry about bothering your neighbor and many of the rooms have ample sunlight/​big windows. BBS management works hard to create a supportive art community, and they host fun events like member mixers and draw + drink. I plan on staying here for awhile!

I’ve been a tenant at BBS 362 since right after they opened the doors. I started with a small space, and moved to a larger one in the same building. I feel lucky to have this space, and have had a great experience with BBS both in terms of my space and the attitude of the landlords/​management.
BBS specializes in studios for small businesses, and in my opinion, offer a really great option for people looking for a combination of professional space and studio, or starter space. (My building has smaller spaces, but their other buildings may have more large spaces — not sure) The buildings are 24-​hour, clean, well lit, secure (camera monitor in the halls and outside) and well-​maintained. Buildings also have a door attendant on staff 9 – 5 weekdays, which is especially great if you receive or send packages.
I can’t say enough good things about the landlords. They’re really professional, accommodating people, who also run a tight ship with care; They keep things interesting with studio meet-​up evenings and events on occasion. Recently, they added a new conference room to my building; complete with a monitor for large presentations… they’re constantly upgrading and making improvements.
Really can’t say enough good things. These people are doing right by artists and small businesses, and it’s fantastic. If you’re an artist/​entrepreneur looking for space, give them a try.
