This used to be my favorite bagel place, until new owners came in and changed everything. The first time I tried it they charged nearly $ 8 for a bagel with one pathetic slice of lox on it. I decided to give them a second chance when I was rushing to catch a train. I ordered a bagel toasted with butter. Imagine my disappointment when I go to eat my bagel and find it cold and the butter barely melted. Save yourself the trouble and go to Bergen bagels instead.

I don’t ever leave a Unilocal review but this situation needs to be heard… Fellow vegans, the online menu is not what it seems!!!
After looking at their website and seeing all the vegan options they have I was more than excited and willing to make the trip from queens down to Brooklyn. So when I get there all I see available is tofu cream cheese and a sad excuse of a bagel. I made the trip so might as well get something, so I paid for that. I later went up to one of the workers and showed him the menu online and asked if they had anything vegan that was stated on the online menu (I thought someone would have to ask and they’ll have ingredients ready) all he said was «no». So I ask if it’s the same place as online and he said «yes» he then told me that he can put some veggies together and put them in a bagel for me and I said no and got a vegan treat that was disappointing to say the least. Will definitely not be coming back here.
