I was really hesitant to try this place after reading all of the awful reviews, but my experience ended up being pretty good. More than enough washers and dryers, a decent amount of spots to sit and wait, and the price is decent(2.25 per small washer load and 25cents per 8 minutes to dry). I guess only downside is having to keep an eye on your clothes, but that’s nothing new to anyone who uses these places. Came on a Sunday afternoon expecting it to be be super busy and wasn’t that bad at all, was able to find a washer and dryer with zero wait time.

the worst of the worst in customer service. Someone stole my card loaded with money to wash clothes when i literally turned my back for 5 seconds. Management said they could only give me credits in drying. Only plus is they are always open

AVOIDATALLCOSTS!!! just moved to Bed-Stuy and thought I would give this place a shot. I put two loads of Egyptian cotton sheets in the wash($ 4) and then had to dry it three times($ 6). The dryers are so crappy, that, yes, it took three whole cycles to dry them. I got so frustrated spending four hours on sheets, that I walked back to my apartment to get my iPad, and when I came back, my sheets were stolen– Seriously. The other customers around the dryer I had put my sheets in, informed that I lady just took them out and left. I spoke with a female employee at the front desk who told me that the laundromat is exempt from all liability for stolen items(not true, I could file a general liability claim with their insurance carrier) and asked me to file a police report. I asked the employee what would be done if I filed a police report. She told me that nothing would be done. So all in all four hours of my time was wasted along with $ 10 for washing and drying and $ 200 worth of sheets. Update: I’m now using because they do wash/fold delivery for $ 1 per pound in Bushwick/bedstuy

This establishment is disrespectful to the members of this community. I’ve used this laundromat several times, self-serve and drop-off. I’ve never really been impressed, but today in particular, I had enough. I went in to take out money from the ATM. The machine said it dispensed $ 20. But nothing was below. I went over to management to let him know. He waved me off and then said I had to contact my bank — that $ 1.50 wasn’t charged so the transaction must not have gone through. I checked my account and $ 20 was dispensed. I show it to him and he said, «Call your bank. Not my problem.» So I told him I would call the cops if he didn’t honor the receipt. He told me to call and gave me the address. After calling the cops. He walks over to the machine, digs and pulls out $ 20. He hands me the money and says next time«check good.» I told that that’s what he should have done in the first place-that’s what good management does. As I left I told him I would no longer patronize his business and I would tell everyone I know not too as well. I waited outside for the cops for 30 mins and then had to leave because I had a previous engagement. Poor business savvy, because I never write a Unilocal review — this is my first.

Why would you come here? They’re open 24/7, have lots of machines, and have a central location. Those are the only reasons. The staff seemed actively disinterested in helping me. You have to use one of those futzy laundry cards. No free detergent — you have to buy it yourself. They have egregiously excessive rules posted everywhere, which aren’t welcoming, and make them seem pedantic and paranoid. If I didn’t do my laundry in the evenings or nights I would sure prefer somewhere else!

When I dropped off my laundry, it was in a white laundry bag. When I picked it up, it was in a black garbage bag. I said«where’s my laundry bag?» They said«we don’t know.» Dude next to me said«they probably gave it to someone else, they always be doin that.» Yep.

I had to stop going here because every time I used fluff and fold they would lose several of my items. I should have known– the first time I dropped my laundry off there was a guy at the counter arguing about a pair of his pants that didn’t come back. When I got my laundry home and unpacked it I found children’s underwear and someone else’s sweater mixed in with my clothes. One of my sweaters was missing, along with several of my socks. How hard is it to keep laundry in one basket and check the machines after each use? I came back to return the clothing that wasn’t mine and the guy just laughed and said«Yeah, that’s been happening a lot since new management took over.» I tried doing my own laundry there once and the machine took $ 4 off my card, then wouldn’t work. When I told the attendant he said he could give it back to me in credit for the dryers, but could not put money back on my card. I didn’t need $ 4 worth of credit for the dryers, so I lost money. Bonus: there were chicken bones and barbeque sauce packets on the floor and a guy was walking around trying to sell a TV/DVD player combo.

This is the laundry mat in my area, not my favorite, but I do go here quite a bit. The place is pretty clean and I have not had many issues with cold dryers. The customer service is not that good, I have seen the workers argue customers down over machines stealing money for drying several times. I use the drop off service, no problems there other than it runs about a dollar a pound.
