This is the worst place to order from. They are so rude and condescending on the phone. If you want to have to call 2 – 3 times to find out the status of your your food — then go ahead and place it. I just ordered on seamless at 5:43pm, called 6:33pm to check the status of «it’s on its way.» To call yet again 7:19pm to find it the status of a delivery that is only a 9 minute walk away door to door. I was passed from one man to another man — each one asking the same question of what my address is to still mistaken 3 numbers over and over again. Finally the final man told gave me the wrong information that my order had already been delivered to another address– when I tried to say that’s not my address — he raised his voice sarcastically and said who it was delivered to and gave me this other woman’s name and phone number. I am still telling the guy that’s not my name, phone number or address that he is confused with the number — he says oh «I have that right here. I don’t know why my delivery guy didn’t take that but I can send it now.» I told him that after he spoke to me in such a way I would like to cancel that order. He continued with he is sending it over. Thank goodness for seamless and being able to place another order with a different restaurant that wouldn’t yell at me over the phone when I’m checking on the status of my order almost 2 hours late.

Definitely some of the best Indian food I’ve had! There’s not a huge selection of delivery options in these parts of Brooklyn, but this place is my go-to to satisfy my take out needs. Food is always delivered piping hot and arrives quickly. The quality of the food is really great here and you can’t go wrong with any of the items on the menu. I especially like their lamb dishes. Though, I do have to say, I am not a fan of the samosas– there are definitely better offerings on the menu. Very reasonably priced for what you get. We usually order enough to feed us both for two meals for around $ 30 total. Have yet to dine-in here, but I have been told its nice. Would like to make a date night out of it sometime with bae.

The food was great! Probably some of the best Indian food I’ve had. The restaurant is clean and quiet. The food came in a timely manner and the staff was very friendly. They have very reasonable prices and even threw in a free dessert. Will definitely be going back.

So I kind of sort of have a love hate relationship with Bombay Heights. I would say I order pickup from here at least once a month. The food is excellent as many have already said. I’ve had the Chicken Makhani as well as the Chicken Curry both are spicy without being too spicy and the Chicken Makhani is sweet, but not too sweet. You always are provided enough food so you can have leftovers, which is a total plus in my book and I really love the garlic naan. Every issue I’ve ever had here was with the service. For example, when I first started going here a few years back naan was included, at least I thought it was because I never asked for it and always got it. More recently that stopped happening and when I asked when I was picking up I got a rather rude response. I mean if it’s not included that’s totally fine, I’ve been ordering it separately since then since I do like it, but they honestly didn’t have to be rude. Also if you order pickup you should always go 20 minutes after the suggested time seamless sends you. I’ve made that mistake one too many times and have been waiting for my food much longer than I would have liked to. Overall it’s great Indian food and just take the service with a grain of salt I guess.

I love this place! I’ve only eaten in maybe 3 times, but it’s on my block so I order from here a lot. I always get the chicken madras curry and sometimes the samosas. It’s always really good and a great portion size! The guys working there are friendly enough. If I ever have to wait a bit longer for my take out order, they give me a little cup of the rice pudding! I also love how that always comes with my take out food! It’s so yummy. My only complaint is that the food takes a while to come out if you’re eating in.

Waited for 2 and a half for the delivery and I called to cancel the order then the manager just hung up on me. Very unprofessional and rude.

This is seriously the best Indian food EVER. I love their spicy Chicken Tikka, their samosas, and mango lassi. The special is great and it comes with naan bread! They deliver to my apartment SO fast and I order at least once a month from them. ALWAYS tasty. Thank you, Bombay Heights!

Call me cheap. Bombay’s cheaper… in a bad way. Chicken Tikka Masala is a good dish. I’ve been ordering from them for a year but eventually charging $ 12 for leg and breast was not worth the value. I’d say 8 times I’ve ordered the leg had barely any meat. So. You are pretty much paying for 1 piece of chicken for $ 12… Not worth the value. if you like knawing on bone and sucking sauce on the leg without meat be my guest. I ordered veg curry. seems like the container got smaller in qty. I don’t have lot of choices for good food in my neighborhood but the value is just not worth it.

The bf and I order delivery from here often, about once every 1 – 2 weeks. They are a great staple for good, fresh Indian fare. Not as greasy or spicy as other Indian places nearby but tasty nonetheless. I love that the food is piping hot when it arrives(this is key for me!). Our standard order is usually Sag Aloo, Bindi Masala, Mushroom Saag(my fave) and an order of garlic naan. Haven’t had any of their meat dishes but the veggie dishes are great.

Bombay Heights is a decent delivery option. I haven’t dined in there. Most of the time the delivery time isn’t bad, but once I walked in and did take out and it took a while. I haven’t had any issues with the food, it’s good but not mind blowing(it’s a takeout joint after all). The flavors are on the mild side, I guess that’s their way of catering to the gentrified state of Bed-Stuy…

Great Indian food for delivery! The service was fast and the meal was delicious! We had the garlic naan, the lamb shish kebab, the chicken tikka masala and the lentil soup. The only thing that I didn’t absolutely love was the soup as it had bit too much broth and not enough lentils. The lamb and chicken were cooked perfectly and the spices and sauces were great! The naan was still hot and loaded with garlic goodness! Yum. I definitely recommend!

Came here with a coworker to get my first taste of Indian food. It was pretty good and right in the heart of Bed-Stuy. Of course we had to pass through group of men giving cat-calls, but when we finally made it to Bombay Heights, it was worth it. We waited for the food and decided we’d eat it back at my coworker’s house since she lived nearby. I had the Tika Masala as she told me that’s the go-to dish for many lovers of Indian food and it’s a great one to try for those who are beginners. It was pretty tasty and the rice was plentiful. Since then, I’ve had Indian food from numerous places which I feel had better quality Indian food. This place is «A-OK» and I would come back here for food if I’m in the area.

My favorite place to get Indian takeout, granted it’s really close and I’m too lazy to travel excessively far for takeout… It’s good. Just kidding it’s REALLYGOOD. I order the Chicken Tikka Masala and fried vegetables. They’re always consistent.

Dont want to be a negative Nancy and shower on everyone’s parade but I used to order food from here until I got food poisoning. So I actually don’t order any Indian food delivery anymore after the experience. I used to get rice nan and curry chic peas. Also my friend got some weird lamb before and it looked discolored and metallic as if it probably came from a can (if that’s even possible) ewwl Probably that’s why they got the C. The grade is for cleanliness and operation, so whether you eat in or takeout, it’s the same kitchen. They do have quick delivery, perhaps that’s why food is not always consistent because they rush it or have it ready made from the morning.
