Big Nick’s 99 Cent Discount & More

Big Nick sold this store about a year ago. Besides turning the store into a junk store, the new owner is one of the RUDEST human beings I have ever met.
His employees make you feel as if you are beneath them, are rude as can be and barely speak a word of English.
I live a few blocks away and I’ll spend my money elsewhere. And the lack of customers in the store have me believe others are doing the same.
Don’t bother walking through the door.
PS. Big Nick opened a bagel store/​deli across the street. I’d rather spend my money there.

«Hey, I know that area, Bath Beach. » I was going to be in this area today so why not check it out.
This area seems desolate to me so it wasn’t that hard to spot this place. Most of the stores around were either closed (because it’s Sunday) or out of business. Or also maybe people weren’t out because it was a bit chilly out. Also people were probably out along 86^th Street because that’s where all the major stores are located.
The aisles are very narrow inside this store. It may seem small but there are a lot of items that are available from pots and pans to bath/​body/​beauty supplies to dog/​cat food. There’s is also a mini deli along with a small coffee/​tea station where you can prepare your own cup. (Well I think it was self serve because it was just out there and not behind the counter…) There was also a wide selection of Christmas decorations. If only I had known about this place earlier, I would have probably gotten some stuff here to pimp my house for Christmas.
I was just in to browse. I wasn’t planning on buying anything but I ended up buying some food seasonings.
After I left, I read the article* again and Yep, that dude Nick does like football and the title of the article is very fitting.
