Best Dry Cleaner in Bay Ridge
I found Benny’s on a recommendation from a friend 3 years ago after my previous dry cleaner retired and I couldn’t be happier. My dress shirts come out perfect every time and best of all, they will bring the cleaning out to your car to help prevent you from getting a ticket.
They are very accommodating if you need same day service and their pricing is extremely reasonable. My wife and I both work in Manhattan and I have 2 teenage girls so I have a lot of dry cleaning.

Very disappointing. I have brought items here twice and each time found myself grinding at paying extra for substandard and at one point even negligent service.
The most horrifying incident– I brought in a very expensive silk dress to be cleaned and pressed. When I picked it up the clerk pointed out a very visible tar or burn like mark on the front and insisted it was there when I brought it in. I know that it wasn’t there when I dropped it off because when I dropped it off I took special care in pointing out a different stain I thought would be difficult to remove. In response, the man at the time examined the entire dress and put a stickem near every spot and stain. This new burn was so strangely placed, distinct and prominent he definitely would have place a sticker there had it existed when I dropped it off… which it did not.
I also brought a black suit to be cleaned. The first time I took it out of the plastic at home it looked like it had been dragged on the floor. It was covered in dust and even what looked like cat hair! Disgusting.

As dry cleaners go, this place is really fantastic. Every time I go in, the owners greet me warmly. They rushed a huge amount of dry cleaning so I could pack for a recent trip on time. One time, the woman who runs the store saw that one of my shirts had a small tear. She fixed it for me and didn’t charge me for the work. They are really the best!
