My best friend’s wedding is two weeks away and the maid of honor dress was purchased for me before I became pregnant. Now that I’m 6 months along, I thought I couldn’t zip the dress up and it was uncomfortably tight. My usual tailor told me it would cost $ 120 to take the dress apart but she didn’t have enough time to do it, which costs over double what the dress cost itself. I tried another tailor who told me it was impossible to do anything about it. Desperate and upset, I came here, and Cynthia pronounced right away that it zips up fine and it did! All she had to do then was a hem and to let out the inner lining for me a bit so I would be more comfortable. This shows that she is a true master at what she does and has the skill and expertise to take care of your alterations without charging you an arm and a leg. Even though she’s far from me, I would definitely come back if I had any alterations needed other than a simple hem.

I came to Cynthia to get a bridesmaid dress altered. I was in between sizes and decided to go with the smaller size… not the best decision in retrospect. Cynthia was able to take out the dress and hem it beautifully in only 4 days, at a fraction of what bridal dress shops would charge. She has also hemmed three pairs of pants for me in the past which I am very pleased with as well. I highly recommend Belt French Dry Cleaners!

I had to go to party and need to clean suit and shirt on same day. Also, I need my dress to be altered. Everything came out nice and on time. When you have urgent cleaning, you should go Belt.

The owners, Cynthia & Eric are great. The dry cleaning always comes out wonderful. Always professional & Cynthia is a fabulous seamstress. My old dry cleaner was going on vacation about 2 years ago. I called my friend Marie for a referral as I know she was happy with who she used. I’ve been a customer ever since. I wouldn’t go anywhere else

Used their service for almost six month, since moved to the neighborhood. Actually read reviews about them, which were pretty good. Lately their service became just horrible: 2 shirts came with stains, which was impossible to get rid of. I gave my skirt to cut shorter, women did just horrible job and charged me $ 20.

I was referred to Cynthia, the seamstress at Belt Cleaners, after a bridesmaids dress I had brought to another tailor was butchered. I had 5 days to get this dress fixed and Cynthia did an amazing job. She was able to fix the straps, the crooked hem, saw an eye hook in and give me a bustle all in time for the wedding. She was also so kind and reasonable and charged me the minimum amount she could knowing that I had already paid the previous tailor a small fortune. I would definitely recommend Belt for alterations. I can’t comment on the dry cleaning services though.

Viola, my favorite neighborhood cleaners. The lady who works there is super friendly and always greets me with a smile. Once she was able to finish my clothes 2 days early when I asked very nicely. They do a great job on everything from dress shirts to sweaters. And they even managed to get out some stubborn spots that another dry cleaner dismissed as permanent, so that makes me extra happy.
