I am a wedding photographer, I have worked with many different florist over the years, I would have to say that Beach view is one of the best, I worked with them this past month, brides flowers were on time to the brides house which makes my life easier. The bridal bouquets were not soaked with water like they are from ever other florist, which sucks because it leaves wet stains on the brides and bridesmaids dress. Bridal bouquets are always large beautiful and the flowers are always fresh and tight it’s a pleasure to work with a professional florist at the bride isn’t upset after she gets her delivery that wedding morning. I also started to use them, For my personal use. Great flowers, great prices, Greta place to go. Thank you beach view florist

Love the pink lily so much and it smell so fresh! All my friends love the flower and we love it so much! Love the person that helped me to pick out my favorite flowers all in one! Forgot to ask his name, but will definitely go back and say hi to him and get more flowers and plants from him!

Ivan is so friendly! I’ve been walking by this flower shop for the past 11 years I been in Brooklyn and have never stepped in. I honestly never bought flowers before, so I had no idea what I wanted. I told Ivan it was for a birthday and he just catered to whatever information he got. It’s been 4 days and the flowers have bloomed even livelier!

The staff of Beachveiw florist did such an amazing job with the arrangements for my mother in laws funneral as well as my in laws christmas floral bed for their grave the flowers are breath taking and now once again Beachveiw florist are working on our floral arrangement for our wedding … the staff works with you with whatever arrangements you have in mind and if u dont know what u want just leave it up to them and you’ll be amazed with what they can do for you. The staff of Beachveiw Florist def makes you feel like family they will go out of thier way and beyond to make all of thier customers happy.

I stopped in the day before Valentine’s and placed an order to be picked up the following afternoon. When the next day rolled around, I was ill and unable to pick it up myself. Figuring that they’re only a few blocks away, I called early in the day to see if they could deliver the flowers — which were supposed to be a Valentine’s Day surprise for my wife when she got home from work.
The person I spoke to said that, while they couldn’t guarantee a time, they would get the flowers to me that day. Long story short, after many unanswered phone calls they never came and I was forced to ruin the surprise. I had to pick up the flowers the next day in person.
Much like with other reviews I’ve read here, I don’t think they really understand how big of a failure it is to not come through on a special occasion and how a few extra flowers (as a consolation they gave me 15 roses instead of a dozen) doesn’t really make up for ruining a surprise. While the employees didn’t seem extremely rude or anything, I did think it was impolite/​poor customer service to not even say «I’m very sorry,» or «my bad, sucks to have that happen on Valentines.» No empathy.

So, I was going on vacation and thought it’d be cool if I had flowers delivered to my girlfriend while I was away, you know just to be cute. I went to Beachview Florist, ordered and paid (in full) for the flowers prior to my leaving the states. It was a simple bouquet, in a vase, nothing crazy. I set what day I wanted to have it delivered, and wrote it out myself on the receipt. They ensured me it would get delivered.
It didn’t. Not only did it not get delivered, I had to spoil the surprise and tell my girlfriend about the flowers so that she could figure out what the hell to do. (because…I wasn’t going to pay 3.99/min to figure it out and get screwed out of more money because of their incompetence.)
They delivered it, eventually, on the day after I returned. They did not mention why it was late, and I did not bother calling them to demand a refund because I just didn’t feel up to it. But I can promise you I won’t ever go back here.
