I went there yesterday with my daughter, we both saw Dr Biro. He was very nice and professional. The ladies at the reception desk were all very nice. I would highly recommend this office.

Been coming here for years and they’ve always taken good care of me. They are extremely accommodating as far as last minute appointments. I have seen Jacqueline the past few times and she is as sweet as pie and gave me a few new things to try for my skin issue. Today, I was helped by Grace who is also a sweetheart and very helpful and honest and seemed genuinely concerned when I told her my problem. There is parking if you come around 20 minutes before your appointment time and look… There is also a lot of great eats around for before or after your appointment. I recommend Campania or the narrows diner!

I arrived ten minutes early for an appointment at 3:00, but I wasn’t seen until 4:04. I asked the attendant at the desk twice in the hour that I waited how much longer it was going to be. Both times, she said, «Your chart is up. You’ll be called very soon.» Far from true, I’m afraid. And for the pains of waiting for over an hour to be seen, I received two minutes – I timed it – with a physician’s assistant. One of the benefits of living in New York City is that we’re not limited in our choices for doctors. I recommend choosing another one.

I’m sure you’ll receive optimal dermatology treatment here. What is not right is the fact that Medicaid is not accepted. Or in the receptionist ‘s words«we don’t participate in such peasant things.» Ok, so ye poor slobs who cannot afford health insurance and have skin ailments… go jump off a cliff!

This place was difficult to find and since it’s the middle of winter my toes and fingers were icicles by the time I found it. Anyway, it took a little while to be seen but it wasn’t too busy so it could have been worse. Dr. Kaylor was very friendly, personable, and informative. Unfortunately, she couldn’t do anything about my condition, there’s no treatment and it just goes away on its own and I have to ride it out, but I was made to feel better and relax because at least I finally knew what was going on.

Went to them a few years ago when Dr. Lazlo actually worked there and was happy with my care. Now, it seems like his son, which I assume took over the business and is too busy writing books to manage to make it into his own practice has P. A’s do his work for him. I wouldn’t have minded this that much if they were just honest and told me that I would be seeing a PA rather than a doctor. Instead, I arrive on time for an appointment and still manage to wait an hour to see a PA and get charged like I had just seen a doctor. Not cool. At the very least they should be crystal clear when you set up an appointment that you may be seeing a PA and offer a reduced fee for the reduced service or wait for an appointment with an actual doctor when they finally get around to be present in their own practice. I will add that the female P.A. that I saw seemed knowledgeable, but she seemed young and had to reference her phone a few times during my visit… i guess to double check what she was saying to me was accurate: / Additionally, the group of nasty hens they have working the phones and counter can stand to learn a few things in costumer relations– like hello, good bye, basic eye contact and maybe some class when they try to pronounce a not very hard to pronounce last name and giggle like school girls while mocking the name. FYI –this only showed me your ineptitude and lack of basic grammar school phonics.

I’ve had nothing but good experiences here. Cheerful young professional dermatologists who complied with all my wishes. No complaints as to their skill, knowledge, expertise, or manner. I’m very shocked to hear that there’s any issues with this office. It gets my vote of confidence.

Bait and switch at a doctors office… not cool! Had a little rash on my leg, Called for an appointment with Dr. Biro and was unable to get an appointment with him so the receptionist said I can give you an appointment with so-and-so. Well I go there and Mr. so-and-so comes in, looks at it and says I don’t know what it is. It’s probably nothing. I am going to give you a prescription for some cream. Check back in 2 weeks. Now as I walk out I find out this guy who has no clue is a PA not a doctor. Funny how they did not tell me I was getting an appointment with a PA. Even funnier how they charged me the same Copay for a PA as the doctor. Can’t wait to see how they bill my insurance. I was under the impression that Physicians Assistant was there to assist the physician and not play doctor all by himself. Very disappointing.

Horrible care. On top of which you will probably be seen by a woman who, while you won’t realize it, is a physician assistant, NOTANMD. The last time I was there I saw her thinking she was a doctor — I would never allow a non-MD anywhere near me – and she botched a skin repair so badly it had to be cared for by another dermatologist and I too like the other commenter filed with the Office of Medical Conduct.

I visited this office for an initial appointment because of a painful, itchy rash I had developed. I filed a formal complaint about my care. I do not have insurance and I paid $ 120.00 out of my own pocket, for a doctor to tell me he «didn’t know what it was» and shove some mousse with steroids on me to get rid of something when he wasn’t even sure what it was. Since I was there anyway, I asked him about my acne scarring on my cheeks, about 6 new skin tags that have all popped up within the last month on my neck(in a cluster) and a small skin tumor I have on my leg. He seemed wholly uninterested in addressing these issues, and did not explain anything to me nor did he give me any advice about these conditions. My visit lasted about 10 minutes, and I walked out feeling robbed, having none of my concerns addressed, and a bag full of sample medications to treat a rash that I knew just as little about walking into the office as I did leaving. The doctor also told me it was his«last day» at that office, and I could tell, because it didn’t seem like he really cared about helping me. I ended up finding out the cause on my own(I was allergic to my new mattress pad, I’m still not sure why) and discontinuing the use of the medication because it only made my skin burn and feel worse. I do not think this care was worth $ 120.00. I had read it was the best place in Brooklyn. I do not feel that I received care worthy of that claim. I emailed them to complain about the pathetic care I received, so I will update this when I get a response. As of now, they basically robbed me of $ 120.00 and I would never ever go back. Steer clear of this place. Update– I never got a response to my email. These people are terrible. Don’t waste your money. If I could rate LESS than one star, I would.
