Adrian Sylvester is the sales manager at this location. Google his name and you’ll find all sorts of interesting information regarding auto-​loan schemes, grand larceny, possession of stolen property, etc.

Pretty well-​oiled machine they got going on there. I was a bit aghast at the repair quote but honestly, once I spoke to the advisor on the phone he was very reasonable, explained things thoroughly and empathized with my situation (an older car I hesitated to dump a lot of cash into. In all, not a bad experience, I would go back.

This place has ridiculous wait times for very simple tasks. If it was crowded, then I would understand long wait times but even when there are only 3 cars in the shop, they take their sweet time.
I received an oil change a while back and they lost my car /​did not want to retrieve it. It took 3 hours for that whole ordeal.
Would not recommend if you want a quick service. Expect to leave your car there for hours.

I went here and the man working said he couldn’t hear me. Even after I was raised my voice he told me he couldn’t hear me.

Lies, lies, lies. Stay away if you can.
If you feel compelled to get your car here (and I STRONGLY recommend going anywhere else first), get EVERYTHING in writing. In fact, if possible, record every conversation. The good news is that we got a great car and we’re happy with it. The bad news is that:
1) We were told that upon trading in our leased car we wouldn’t owe any money. Then when we got a bill for mileage overage on our trade-​in nobody recalled any conversation, even though that’s the only reason we went through with the deal.
2) My ill father was forced to drive in from Long Island, sit and wait for 4 hours (while the salesmen dealt with potential customers) and miss his granddaughter’s birthday party to co-​sign this lease.
These people give car dealers a bad name and that’s amazing if you think about it.

I would like to update my review after speaking with customer relations specialist, Andrew. Andrew called me today after reading my Unilocal review to remedy my experience with Bay Ridge Honda. He was out of town on vacation while I was servicing with this location, but if he was in the office, I believe I would’ve never had to write this first review.
Andrew was completely professional, and reimbursed all services after hearing that I had a negative experience.
It is because of people like Andrew that companies and relationships with their customers flourish, and would gladly be open to giving Bay Ridge another chance.

Took my car here for its first service and some warranty work. Dropped it off in the morning before I went to work and expected to pick it back up at the end of the day. Unfortunately, due to volume, they couldn’t get to my car until late afternoon and the car wasn’t ready by the time I got off work. But they offered me a loaner car and I was able to pick up the car the following day.

BEWARE — You will get a higher price when arrive than what they quote you on the phone. They will claim they never quoted you the lower price.
In June, I spoke to Joanne who quoted me a $ 28,000 for a Honda Accord. I told her I’d be back in two days and called her that morning to confirm our appointment later that day. She said we were «all set.» I drove from Queens and was «greeted» by a disinterested, texting receptionist who asked, «Who?!» after stating my name and appointment time. No matter, because I still wanted to buy the car. We walked around and were approached by Tim (I think). I explained I had spoken to Joanne about the Accord and was ready to finalize this purchase. We showed us to his desk and asked me for my driver’s license. I asked why he wanted it and he got very nasty and said, «SIGH! You don’t understand how this works.» I reluctantly gave him my license and he left with it for 20 minutes, returned and said he had an Accord for $ 33,000 — $ 5k MORE than Joanne quoted me. I asked why and he said they had no black Accords in stock «only red, white and blue.» I said that I would consider blue and he left for another 20 minutes.
He came back and sighed and said, «I need a deposit to show that you’re serious.» I called ahead, set up an appointment and was there — I am serious. He accused me of not giving him «good faith» and again, accused me of not «knowing how this worked.» I felt bullied but I gave him my credit card.
Another 20 minutes later, he comes back (holding a photocopy of my driver’s license and credit card) and says, «We have no car for you.» He didn’t offer to show me another car or even negotiate. I left, incredulous.
I only went to Bay Ridge Honda because Joanne said she had an Accord for me for $ 28,000 and which they had no intention of honoring. I was ready to write a check for the down payment and they totally blew it. The salesman was so rude and condescending, it was almost abusive. I left feeling angry and sad.

We had a very smooth, no-​hassle transaction with Justin Harmon today. I’d heard mixed reviews about this dealership and after eavesdropping on some other conversations there today with various shady employees, I think it really depends on whom you work with. We brought print-​outs on the web-​only deals, Kelley blue book print outs, and an insurance price quote, and left with a car we liked a few hours later — and never felt pressured to spend more or buy things we didn’t need. We’d work with him again!

Beware Bay Ridge Honda financing! I bought a car there over the summer and while setting up the loan was offered an extra protection plan for tires and wheels. I was told that the monthly cost was actually $ 10 less a month if I bought this protection plan. Something didn’t seem right about this and I declined to purchase the plan, even after heavy pressure from the salesman. WELL, it turned out that he had «forgotten» to include my down payment when calculating my monthly payment. Though apparently he hadn’t «forgotten» to include it when calculating the monthly payment including the extra protection plan. So it turned out the monthly payment was $ 60 less than he originally told me. So, if I’d purchased the plan, instead of paying $ 10 LESS a month, I would’ve paid $ 70 MORE a month. Big scam!
I like my Honda, but there is really sleazy behavior going on at this dealership.

I purchased a certified pre-​owned car here constant issues then there was a recall to my car not one but two OK my car is automatic but the recall said bring it I brought it they said nope no recall I said OK fine but my front bumper is off the clips they said leave it so I did got to work late for that one no problem now this was when I first got the car and I have the 7yr 100,000mile warranty so fine no one could tell me what are the specs of coverage with that fine I will leave it alone the other day I had to change my head lights so I did it passenger side first sweet no problem keep in mind it is certified pre-​owned
Now the fun starts driver side Yippy so I go and prep for the drivers head light bulb to change I got then I feel a sharp scrape on my forearm pow cat scratch like cut on my arm so I point my flash light and I notice a freaking drywall screw through the front fender wall I’ve done construction. So I know what type of screw it was turns out that screw was rusted
OK cool don’t care about the cut. mind you this was my first car ever they scooped me in no test drive I only seen the interior of the car but as far as thoroughly nope they always talking to distract you
So you by pass stuff and it was missing the cargo cover but that was optional they said wow never seen that one coming then but what ever please check the car before anything ladies if you are not sure how it works and guys if you are not sure how to check it go with a mechanic don’t be afraid to go under the car in the middle of the side walk or inside the dealership. Tell the dealer you need some alone time with the car to not ask you questions or show you anything. you say no you are on time out I’m busy checking stuff let your mechanic do his thing but please please be thorough and check it before you sign off on anything paper work is the quickest but the car is what you will have to put up with so frustrated I don’t even want the car to be touched by them anymore

The five star reviews are fake. These people are liars and thieves. They have no clue how to make money honestly so they steal from ALL their customers. The five star reviews either didn’t catch how they got swindled or got paid to leave the review. I know that Bramcorp forces their salespeople to call their customers to ask them to leave 5 star reviews and if the customer doesn’t leave a review, the salesperson gets penalized.
BramCorp should never see your money. You’re paying horrible people to do horrible things to you. You’re being robbed!
One of these people even tried to place ads under other dealerships’ names with racist language and deals they can’t afford to honor in order to get their competition in trouble. The top officers knew about this and did nothing.
Steer clear of BramCorp and ALL their dealerships! Just dirty, DIRTY people!

TL;DR: Top-​notch service, really amicable salesman, solid selection, «hassle-​free» negotiation and very, very smooth closing process. Absolutely would buy from here again.

There seem to be some negative reviews of this dealer on here, so I’m going to explain how our interaction with them today went. It’s going to be a long read.
We had a few models in mind (Civic, Versa, Sentra, Altima, Accord, in that order) and decided to try the two nearest Nissan and Honda dealers by us. We didn’t want to spend more than $ 18,000, and we were already pre-​qualified for an auto loan with my bank. (I wanted to get a loan through the Municipal Credit Union, but doing so was only slightly better than pulling teeth with a crane despite my really good credit history.)
When I called in explaining what I was after, the saleswoman on the phone confirmed their inventory and booked me in for an appointment smoothly.
You can tell that the place means business upon walking in. The dealership is very organized and easy to walk through, and the cars in the showroom are really well-​placed. Everyone dresses really, really well. It’s not like walking into the Ferrari or Mercedes dealerships, but you’ll feel a little underdressed in comparison if you’re rocking casual clothing. I didn’t really understand this until I saw how sloppy-​looking everyone was at the Nissan dealership. Appearance really matters.
The lady at the front desk was quick to see us (we came in when they opened) and quick to pair us with a salesperson.
We worked with Mark Dance (he’s on DealerRater). He was quick to find us cars that initially fit our budget (even though he only showed us two) and didn’t try to push us into something more expensive. Mark was really, really, REALLY easy to talk to and communicate with and was very patient with the many questions I had. He also worked with us when we tried to get the total cost of the car down to something closer to its appraised value, didn’t once try to run a credit check to negotiate prices and didn’t once try to push us into some ridiculous monthly payment scheme.
When we presented him with a counter-​offer from the Nissan down the road (he was perfectly fine with us visiting them; apparently, some salespeople are much more aggressive about this), him and his floor manager were able to get us an *incredible* deal on an Accord EX-​L (with the works minus the overpriced nav system) that was extremely low mileage and in 100% mint condition. Despite the final price of the car being slightly higher than what we originally targeted (~$ 18k + $ 2000 LoJack install) and despite Nissan coaxing us with an even better counteroffer, we decided on closing with him mostly because we liked him and the place *so* much better.
Another thing I really liked and respected is that everyone seems to *keep it real.* The insurance person, Lou, despite selling All-​State, not only allowed us to call GEICO right in front of him to get a solid quote, but also helped guide me through the process to ensure that I wasn’t setting us up for failure (despite GEICO having a significantly better rate). Lou didn’t even try to sell to us. I respected that a lot.
We came in at 9am thinking of getting a Civic. By 6pm (we closed the place out), we had a top-​of-​the-​line Accord, plates, registration, insurance, and warranty. The only thing we’re missing is LoJack activation (which we’re getting done on Monday.)
I was *extremely* happy with my experience. It was actually one of the smoothest customer service experiences I’ve had in a good while, which was ironic considering how I was expecting to be a shark the entire time. They will be our dealer of choice when we buy again. I tipped Mark $ 140 and will be absolutely glad to give him more deals in the future.

Bay ridge Honda helped me out a lot. After they got me out of a horrible finance with Loman auto sales in New Jersey with a 14.49 percent interest rate (2013 Dodge Avenger with 54,000 miles) they bought out my finance and got me into a 2015 Honda Accord sport for a reasonable price with a 1.9 percent interest rate. I love them and will continue to go there to get my car serviced and to get other vehicles in the future. Employees dealt with: Betty lala saleswomen and Miguel finance manager. they will calculate all the price together with include Finance Charge, and use final total for your amount financed. And this amount finance is not include finance charge. Therefore，how is 2x finance charge coming from.

Went here the other day for a recall repair. Also needed my oil change and tires rotated. Total cost with labor quoted at $ 95 dollars, which was fine. Five hours later I get a call from Elaine who tells me that a couple other things needed to be fixed and that they could do it for $ 250 all in, I just needed to call back to confirm. I never called back. When I went to pick up my car Elaine was gone and they tried to charge me $ 250 for work that was NEVER authorized.
First they tell me that there was nothing that could be done because Elaine wasn’t there. I said that was unacceptable. Then they tell me that only a manager can approve a change to the bill and no managers were present at the time. After complaining/​waiting for over 30 minutes, they finally tell me they won’t charge me for the extra work.
The worst part this scheme was how obviously wrong they were. I have a voicemail from Elaine asking if I want the work done at 5:45. Yet the receipt shows that the work was «approved the customer» 3 hours earlier. Unbelievable. A formal complaint with the BBB and HONDA CORPORATE will follow.

A few days after I posted this review I got a call from a manager at Bay Ridge Honda. He apologized for the bad service. He claimed there was mixup with my car due to a glitch in the system that tells the mechanics which repairs to perform on which cars. He also admitted that more supervision of the customer-​facing employees was needed, particularly during the busy times, and to catch «glitches» in the system. He gave me a credit for the amount I ended up paying (for the oil change and tire rotation).
While I understand that mistakes happen, what I was really annoyed about was the really terrible service I received when I went to pick up my car and discovered the issue. Had they just been nice (and upfront) about the fact that it was a mistake, I would have given them the benefit of the doubt. But they were they were rude and deliberately unhelpful. At best, I will say that this experience was the inevitable result of a poorly run, mistake-​prone facility with several rude employees. At worst, this is a pseudo scam they try to pull on unsuspecting customers (which is how I felt after picking up my car).

I am torn, because these guys will talk to you, look you in the eye and sympathize with you to the point that you say ‘hey he is really being honest with me’ but then you step outside and back into reality and realize that you have been swindled.
I am sure that when these people actually service your vehicle, they do a fine job, but all the before and after is just a mess. They are extremely unorganized and yes they will lie to you straight to your face.
Most recent example: Left the car here at 6pm for a state inspection and was told that it would be about two hours. ok that’s fine. 8pm rolls around and I get a call that the state inspection website is down. Not their fault right? But why did it take two hours to relay this info to me? Further, they are closed Sundays and laughed when we even asked for a Sunday appointment because ‘you can’t get a state inspection done on a Sunday’. Well guess what a-​wipe, I did just that! And it shouldn’t take 20 minutes just to bring me my car. That is just horrid management.
Why two stars? There are some really friendly and attentive workers here, mainly the guys you drop your car off with
