Super cute place with a nice ambience – a little Fetty Wap never hurts a bubble tea. Reasonably priced!

I’m eating here right now! The food here is great. I usually get the sliced beef phở or the traditional banh mi but today I got a grilled chicken banh mi. Everything here is great. Vietnamese food is great. Eat here. The bubble tea situation here is good too. They even serve beer.

Super cute — Lots of seating and really great lighting/aesthetic. Cheap phở, salads, and Bahn Mi. lots of bubble tea options(including non-dairy creamer)! $ 10 min for credit cards(MasterCard and Visa).

This is the only place in Brooklyn I will eat Bahn Mi. The food is authentic and the staff are very friendly. It is my favorite new addition to Crown Heights!

This place is a solid go-to and the only place nearby where you can get a bubble tea. Slightly addicting, beware, and, enjoy.

In my opinion I think the best thing to order here is the beef short rib sandwich. It is tender and very filling, if you want something that is cheap and filling this is the place to go.

This is my go-to neighborhood spot for quick, healthy, tasty treats. Try the rice vermicelli noodle salad — I get it with tofu(veggies & vegans welcome here) and love the marinade. Nothing fancy, but gets dinner done and leaves room for the rest! Peanut dipping sauce with the fresh rolls is bomb. And finally… Bubble tea is also a must. Taro 4 lyfe.

Phogetaboutit… On a leisurely walk we found this place and we will definitely come by again. The Sliced beef phở was fantastic but we are looking forward to making our way down the list. The bubble tea was ex

Always delivers within 25 – 30 mins. Consistently provides an amazing bowl, sandwich, or salad. Every time it’s exactly as the last, perfect. I have ordered the summer roll at least 5 times and my neighbors prolly have ordered them twice as much, delicious! One time went to the location to check it out and the service was quick. Excellent new spot off Franklin.

I had their grilled pork banh mi and passion fruit boba. The bun was wonderfully toasted and fillings had the right ratios. Boba was good at a decent price. Even the atmosphere was super welcoming and spacious, and the music was inoffensive and wasn’t too loud(a personal bonus). Can’t wait to go back and try their phở. And did I mention they have loyalty cards for boba and sandwiches? Take your friends and go!

This is a small no frills kinda place. I think one of the signs of a good bahn mi is the bread and bread was nice and soft. The chicken on rice was also a good value for money. My favorite thing was the Thai iced tea. It seemed like the blended it so it was light and frothy. The person at the counter was nice and accommodating, a good simple place for lunch.

I really don’t get the 3 star review for Bahnmigos. I’ve ordered from this spot more than a handful of times in the past few months, J and I have Bahnmigos on our dinner rotation and it has never disappointed. The food usually comes before the estimated time on Seamless and it’s still piping hot. I only get the short rib phở but J gets everything and it’s all pretty good, not to mention that one order can feed two people(in my case at least). The summer rolls are delicious and the bubble tea is pretty on point. The 5 star review is in support of my go to for phở in the ‘hood and I’m totally a fan! It’s like the neighborhood pizza spot that everyone goes to except it’s bahn mi and phở which is THAT much harder to come by in Crown Heights. So naysayers, piss off… If you have a favorite phở spot that you swear is amazing but located in bumblefck Elmhurst, Queens or wherever you should continue to trek up there to get your fix. Leave my neighborhood viet spot alone, k? Thanks.

To be honest, if this were in Manhattan, Dallas, or Cali; I would not give it 5 stars. But the food in this area is terrible and this is easily the best option I’ve found for lunch. I do not like their boba, but their food is delicious and fast. The rice bowls are the best thing they have. Second up is the Bahn Mi. They have some amazing grilled pork.

Nowhere I’ve found in NYC can compete with West Coast banh mi on price or quality, but Banhmigos is solid and definitely better than that other Banh Mi Place on Washington. This location had to work out some kinks, especially with regard to delivery, when they first opened but after having been in business for a while they’ve hit their stride. The sandwiches are the same as in Park Slope, which is to say pretty good; the grilled pork and traditional are my favorites. I had the phở once and since then I’ve stuck to sandwiches.

When comparing a phở place to the king of Phở in Elmhurst(Phở Banc), its just impossible really to measure up. For starters, most places like Banhmigos will serve maybe a dozen bowls of phở per day. A place like Phở Banc serves probably dozen bowls of phở every 30 minutes during lunch time. Vats of soup sit in the back waiting for the daily onslaught of inevitable customers. In short, a phở factory with the art of making phở down to a science. Banhmigos does its best to offer a hearty bowl of phở and the flavor is very good! The meat is also tasty, plenty of fat whether it was the short ribs or the regular sliced beef. They even serve you a bowl of phở with most of the traditional fixings: bean sprouts, basil leaves and a lemon wedge. Where they fall short is on a few factors: — Price. At $ 9.50 for a bowl of sliced beef phở, this is about $ 3 more expensive than a bowl at Phở Banc. — Soup. While the soup flavor was very good, it still didn’t quite match the aroma of the one at Phở Banc. Also, it was really, really greasy. I think they skipped the part where you skim the animal fat off the top. — Not enough meat. At the end of the day, the above factors are pretty much out of their control. They have to charge a higher price for the phở, due to the inability to achieve economy of scale(not enough demand to warrant mass production of materials). And also the lack of scale means that the soup isn’t made with the same attention at a high-volume phở serving eatery. For a quick phở fix, Banhmigos offers an overpriced, fatty soup imitation of the real thing. But when compared to the King, Banhmigos clearly comes up short and only warrants about 3.5 stars.

Not sure how one can fail so hard at making an ok bowl of phở. It’s unfortunate. Was looking forward to having this new Vietnamese place in the neighborhood. No fresh condiments, no flavor in the broth, overcooked weird looking beef. :(

There is now a second Bahnmigos in Brooklyn! In what I am assuming will eventually end up being 3 Banhmigos– an obvious and much deserved tribute to John Landis; whom, as we all know, is a HUGE star in Vietnam, as well as fairly acclaimed here in the states. This spot is just as good as its predecessor. The Grilled Pork is the same as the one in Park Slope(that is to say, good). Get it spicy– they know the perfect mix, to not make your throat close up. Plus there’s always Sriracha if you need more. The beef short ribs Bahn was really good too– I love the hint of lemongrass. They have a sign that says«Tapas coming soon» but with so much other stuff, including appetizers, I don’t think anyone’s holding their breath(even though, most probably should– those pickled veggies are ripe!). I’m stoked I don’t have to ride over to Park Slope anymore to get my Bahn fix. La bienvenida al vecindario, Banhmigos! That’s Vietnamese– you’ll have to look it up…
