Came with my bff because of a photo I saw oh Unilocal that I liked. I’m very into the latest trends when it comes to my nails. I didn’t ask for what was in the pic I had originally saw, but they gave something slightly different instead, instill loved it. Coming from LA where smaller salons won’t do the more intricate designs to turn a profit faster, it was refreshing to see how sincere and dedicated they were to giving me a custom design and shape to my nails. I love going to this salon! All of the workers are so friendly and they do great work whether it’s a manicure, pedicure, or your eyebrows. What’s great is that now they just renovated the whole salon giving it a fresh and modern look to it. My only suggestion is to go on off times because sometimes it does get busy and you might have to wait, but it’s well worth it!

This nail salon is amazing; I got a free 15 minute massage after my tiring day at work. Monica is a lively and generous lady. Alina, Jon and David are also great people that make me feel like I’m at home.

Have been coming here for years! Staff is very courteous and friendly. They do not double book like some places. Bring my mom who is in her 70’s here and they make her feel like she is family. Prices are amazing too!

I waited a bit but it was worth it. My nails are beautiful. They have A lot of colors to chose from. The lady was so nice and I will keep coming back.

At first glance, this place doesn’t look like much. However, the employees are some of the friendliest and most genuine I’ve ever encountered in a nail salon. I’m Chinese and usually, nail salon employees will talk about non-​Chinese patrons right in front of them. Not so here, which I like and appreciate. Additionally, they’re very good at shaping eyebrows. I get my eyebrows waxed here for $ 5. They also stay open for customers who need emergency mani pedis! They seem consistent. I’ll be back.

So I went to this nail salon on a really snowy day, after walking about half a mile or so (since one of my favorite nail salons decided to be closed) and was so grateful in the beginning these people were open. I saw how small and empty they were and actually thought they were about to close (since they only had one customer that was done and the TV was off and only two nail technicians. Wish I would have gotten their name.
Anyways, they rudely spoke in front of me & argued in Chinese, when I said I wanted a medi/​pedi (because I thought they were closing, and perhaps didn’t think they would have enough time to do me. Then when I ask what is on my mind, then one of the ladies said they were having someone coming in shortly, and I didn’t think they were serious (since the weather was terrible & why would someone make an appointment when it’s going to be a slow day for the business anyhow?) but they also didn’t tell me to come back tomorrow or for me to wait.
I asked to use the restroom and as small as that place is, I didn’t think it would be a freaking maze to find it. The lady didn’t tell me directions of how to get there. She just said go straight but that wasn’t true. Bathroom is small and dirty.
Afterwards, I had both ladies doing my feet and nails, which I thought was ok until one of them tried to make small talk with me, until I asked her, «Can you put the TV on?». She refused saying, «Ah, the weather was really bad today so that’s why it’s off». Stupid reason not to have a TV on unless you plan to close. I noticed that within 5 mins, the girl that was doing my feet didn’t file my big toes or cut the cuticles AT ALL and barely filed my feet. Neither did the lady doing my hands. No cuticles barely cut & even cut my finger skin off. WTF? They also can’t take direction when I wanted multiple colors on both the feet and hands. I argued with them how much of a rush job they did on me and they knew I was a new customer.
They were both arguing with me because they were saying how much and how long of experts they have been doing this for and such. They also told me, «You knew we had another customer coming in», in which that person with her husband (also a customer) did but I think these customers came extremely late for their supposed appointment & such.
As soon as I said all that was on my mind and that I wasn’t going to pay tip, the girl doing my feet didn’t bother to finish her job and didn’t paint my toes, nor fix my toe nails. She was a real b**ch. The one doing my hands had to finish the entire job. Then they timed me on me drying my nails for 6 minutes and not a minute more. They didn’t even bother to say «thank you» and have a good night, even though I told them I am never coming back again.
I kind of feel bad that I talked back to them because the lady didn’t really yell back but for my $ 15, especially work done on my feet, I expect to relax, stay and have the ladies work on me longer, and really care about my needs. Oh and the place is not really clean either and I think they used a dirty towel for both hands and feet.
It disgusts me how people can be towards paying customers and treat customers more or less important. They charged me $ 15 for the whole thing, which doesn’t seem bad at all but if you plan to call yourself a spa, you don’t rush out your customers out the door for someone else. It is supposed to be a place of relaxation.
DON’T COME HERE EVER!!! BUYER BEWARE!

But 5 stars for eyebrow waxing! This is the only place I go to wax my eyebrows. Monica is the best!
The prices are reasonable– $ 5 for an eyebrow wax.
I’ve gotten a mani/​pedi there a few times too, and they always do a good job
The only reason they get 4 stars is because sometimes I have to wait a while, even though I always call ahead of time
