We order takeout from here all the time. The patate pizza is my favorite thing on the menu. They also have delicious salads. The takeout is always fast and the food is fresh.

Amorina is hands down my favorite pizzeria in NYC! It’s super casual and easy-going, with top-notch pizza and amazing new specials every day(plus great prices). 10⁄10 recommend

Stumbled upon this place as BF and I were starving one night around 9pm. Cute little Italian place. We split the baked ziti and their special pizza for that night/weekend. It was a mushroom pizza with red sauce. The pizza was decent, it was about 12″, thin crust and about $ 16. Nothing special. The baked ziti was also more than enough for the two of us to share. It was extremely salty and creamy though as there’s bechamel but it’s much creamier than I would like.Think this place is ok if you wanted a decent pizza but not a fan of the pasta. Would probably come back for their brunch just to try.

I stopped in here one night based on a whim and a negative desire to cook dinner for myself. Their sign said slices to go, which I figured would be hard to screw up. Nevertheless, the pizza hardly warranted being called much more than burned bread and cheese… cut into squares. If you’re going for a quick cash grab, at least execute to mediocrity.

Families galore, and service that bordered on too nice & attentive, but a satisfying, laid back meal overall. «Spaghetti aio e olio» $ 12 — very well-executed, though with a name like that, someone should tell this place it’s called aGLio e elio* Rigatoni w/mushrooms $ 15.50 — pricey but satisfying Gazzosa, Chinotto $ 2.50 each — 2 Italian sodas that we mixed with great results

We love this place: the food, the atmosphere, the service. You feel like you’ve gotten out of the U.S. for a little while when you stop in.

As a recent Prospect Heights transplant(all the way from Fort Greene) my plan is to eat my way through my new neighborhood. So far, this spot is one of my favorites. Maybe it’s because they were the only spot open during the blizzard or maybe it’s the option for gluten free pasta or the attentive service, but this tiny spot offers delicious Italian fare(I’ll try the pizza next time) in a cozy environment that makes you forget you’re not sitting at home in your pjs. I’ll definitely be back.

This must be the best place for pizza in the world. Went there a couple of years ago and still remember their delicious pizzas! The staff was very nice. I also order out and have to say the pizzas arrived in perfect condition. Will come back for sure to repeat the experience!

I’ve ordered from Amorina regularly over the past few years. The food is generally pretty good. However, there are almost always issues with the condition that the food arrives in. Frequently all of the toppings will have slid off the pizza or the pasta will be crushed and leak all over everything else. These complaints were small potatoes compared to my horror in biting down to discover a plastic glove that had been baked into the pizza curst in my last order. It was extremely upsetting and something that raises huge concerns about the safety and quality of their food. Adding insult to injury after reaching out to Amorina several times over the phone and via email I never received any response. Overall, I’m very disappointed in Amorina and sadly, it will no longer be my neighborhood pizza place.

Amorina is my go-to pizza in the neighborhood. This thin crust NYC pizza tastes like Italy. The topping combos are delicious and it’s been a local staple with friendly service for years. The capricciosa is my favorite! Getting home hungry from work, the two slice deal to-go has saved me from coming home hangry on many an occasion.

I ate here last night with my SO and future brother in law less than an hour before closing. It’s actually my favorite pizza place to order from, but last night reminded me why I love to eat there. First I want to say, everything on this menu is amazing. I am a big fan of the Tricolore pizza and the tiramisu. I am differently abled and I travel with a large service dog. My future BIL has a stutter and sometimes servers get frustrated or judgmental with both of us. My BIL is a great guy, it was his first time in NYC, and his very first taste of NYC food. Amorina’s didn’t disappoint! Our server(Anzania?) was friendly, attentive and kind. She treated us with patience and respect, despite the fact that they were about to close, and she had a wrist brace on. My SO ordered a pizza that was made incorrectly,(green olives instead of black) but she didn’t notice,(like I said everything is amazing there) so we didn’t say anything. However after she had eaten about half the pizza, our server came out with a brand new pizza with the correct olives!!! She gave it to us for free. I love this place. Thank you, Anzania for your patience and kindness.

God i love this place. My favorite is the cabonara pizza with two eggs on top, sooo good. I live very close and have to limit myself to only coming once a week but that never lasts. I’ve also tried the lasagna and the fresh cheese and homemade meat sauce makes me want to jump for joy. The service is also quick and the waitstaff is so nice, they should know me by name now. I highly recommend this gem!

One of my Brooklyn favorites. The pizzas are delicious!!! I like the one with anchovies on it. It’s so good!!! I can never get enough. Also if you want an awesome plate of spaghetti with marinara sauce, come here. I am in love with their tomato sauce. It’s so great. Their pasta specials are usually fabulous. Great salad specials during the summer!!!

I arrived in Brooklyn at around 9:15 p.m. on a Thursday night. I was on Pacific time, so I was hungry for dinner and ordered take-out. I searched for pizza near where I was staying and Amorina fit my requirements. I called to order the Diavola(sSun-dried tomato pesto, spicy salami, fresh mozzarella, peperoncino), which Unilocal reported to cost $ 12.00. The person who took my order on the phone said that it’d would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived within 15 minutes or so, paid, and left with a box of personal pizza. The food: It was delicious, but I could only finish half the pizza for some reason. Also, I should’ve spent more time reading the menu because after opening the box, I realized I should’ve gotten a pizza with at least some green on it. I should’ve gone with the Capricciosa(fresh mozzarella, sausage, artichokes, green olives, mushrooms, rosemary), which was reported to be $ 12.50 on Unilocal. The cost: Contrary to what Unilocal reported, the Diavola came out to about $ 15.00. The service: Ordering over the phone made it easy. They made sure I was coming to pick it up. The hostess pointed me to the counter in the back to pay and pick up my order. All the employees were pretty nice and welcoming. The facility: Super cute! I would’ve sat at the restaurant for my meal if it weren’t 9:30 p.m. local time already. It’d be a nice date place. Payment: They take credit cards. I used a Visa gift card, so I can’t speak to whether they take American Express or not. Overall: I recommend it if you’re every in Brooklyn, craving pizza.

I used to love this place. Despite its name it was a cozy adult sophisticated place. My last 3 visits I had to walk out without ordering. They added more regular food which is fine but the place has turned into a loud uncontrolled nursery. Screaming 3&4 year olds running around with nary a parent telling them no. Another occasion kids lying across the floor throwing tantrums while parents gossiped. Not for me.

The food took 40mins to appear, when it did it was clearly reheated. I had a pizza that was stone cold. My boyfriend had lasagne. It was overly greasy. All that would not prompt the bad review except that my boyfriend had the worst case of FOODPOISONING he’s experienced. 2 days unable to keep anything but the smallest sips of water down, extreme pain and discomfort. It’s hardly a surprise that this restaurant is «Grade Pending».

Got the prosciutto and fig pizza. It was a white pizza soaked in grease. Crust was good! Also got the cream of broccoli soup that was $ 8 and it was the consistency of water. Which is saxrelig. Since the base is suppose to CREAM! Overall bad food with slow service. I would suggest berg’n if you want pizza. Or anywhere else. Maybe even papa johns!

Not a bad little place. The décor is kind of cutesy. Service is nice. I thought that $ 6 for a bottle of beer on «special» didn’t seem very special at all. Pizza was pretty tasty. I liked the thin crust. If you’re nearby, it’s worth stopping in but it’s not a destination place.
