I don’t know if the food is good because it took them 2 hrs to being it I ordered at 647 pm and my food finally came at 906 pm after I called so many time
The driver was very polite and apologize several times so that’s a plus
But I really don’t know if I will ever order from them
The food was so cold I didn’t even want it anymore

With great disappointment I report that Ahome has again changed management. This time there are big changes. No more vegetarian broth for soups, just chicken base. No veg-​filled wontons. No fabulous vegetarian garlic drumsticks, or any soy protein meats at all. No daily veg specials. No sriracha. No wait service and real dinnerware for eat-​in customers. It’s still clean and the staff are still friendly, but Ahome is now a very ordinary Chinese takeout, and that doesn’t suit my needs. I deleted all my pics of food. Keep in mind that pics posted before July 2014 are of the previous management, and all the food is made differently now.

«May I have an order of house special lo mien, because I heard wonderful things about this place,» I asked the host. She took my order with a smile and offered a brother me a cold beverage while I wait. Wow, I had to leave the restaurant to see if actually in a Chinese restaurant. This brother is amazed! So you know I had to pull out my ipad to create a nice review for this place.
You ever visit a Chinese restaurant and wonder why the rice is so hard? You will not receive hard rice here, no sir e bob. This place, will give you fluffy and tasty rice. What do I see? Is this in my plate is veggies in my fried rice. Oh my goodness, I am in heaven. I cannot travel home; because I want to enjoy my meal in this place.
The place is super clean and customers have access to the bathroom. The place quite spacious, where you can bring your co-​workers for your lunch breaks. FYI: There about 7 full tables

Given the lack of high quality Chinese cuisine in this area of Brooklyn I gave them a try.. Yes, the menu is a bit confusing between FAKE «meat» and real meat. You must specify when ordering.
. Both the white rice and the fried rice were not cooked. The rice was hard. It was not edible. This happened twice. rice is main part of any Chinese meal. I felt compelled to write the review. They need to retime how long they boil the rice. The one meat dish I ordered Hunan Beef was acceptable but certainly not outstanding beef. The Hunan PORK MUCH better. VERY GOOD! Other dishes vary in quality. nothing was «bad». Chicken was a bit overcooked (hard) but last time was prepared properly.
There is extremely limited parking but the inside is clean and modern,.
UPDATE-​I have now frequented this place severa ltimes and I have added One Full star. Now 4 Star rating. Simply put— EXCELLENT pork Dumplings. the REAL THING. NOT pot stickers. REAL Dumpling dough! The Vegetable umplings are unfortuantely just pot sitckers. SO order the Pork Dumplings. ! The Hot and Sour Soup – is the BEST in all of Brooklyn!!! The RICE can still be a bit under cooked. just not soft and fluffy… but deal with it. because BETTER CHinese food in this area is IMPOSSIBLE! it is CLEAN and the service is fairly fast and friendly. I do recommend!

Chinese food isn’t hard to find but if you want healthy, light and authentic fare then Ahome is the best option on this side of Brooklyn. The fake meat is delicious and satisfying. The veggies are fresh and flowing. Go eat here.

Just ordered from here last night for the first time… Pineapple fried rice was soft and tasty … Sesame chicken was tender and fresh… Shrimp fried rice was great too but the shrimps were tiny! Would defn order from here again
