First off, wow, these reviews are super harsh, and I’d like to point out that a lot of the complaints are about slow service on snowy, slippery winter days. That being said, it did take about an hour, and the guy did ask me to come meet him out front because he had a car. Sure, I could be annoyed about this, but you’d also be kind of a jerk expecting someone to ride a bike to bring you food during a blizzard when you yourself are too lazy and entitled(and I’m including myself here) to go outside or cook. The one very correct complaint is about the soup dumplings. The dish is in fact soup with dumplings in it. I found one semi-intact dumpling, and one completely broken dumpling among the broccoli, cucumber, and… I dunno bamboo shoots? The dumplings, though broken, were fine tasting, and the broth was good. I wasn’t in the mood for soup so it’s still in my refrigerator. The mango chicken entrée was pretty good. There was a good amount of white meat chicken, and the sauce and vegetables were tasty. My husband said his pad thai was pretty good. I tried it but I don’t really ever enjoy pad thai so my opinion of «it tastes fine» isn’t super helpful. We also had the yellowtail jalepeno appetizer which was very good: it had a nice sauce and was atop a bed of some white«noodles» made of vegetable. I anticipate getting faster better service in the summer months, and I will not order soup dumplings again.

Unfortunately, the bad reviews I read were correct :(My order took over an hour and it was also incorrect. I ordered Chicken Pad Thai and got Vegetable… and it also tasted completely bland. I won’t be ordering from them again.

Order arrived in 1 hour and a half. The delivery guy didn’t find parking and we had to come down for the food, fine… Opened the food and my tempura salmon and avocado hand roll was good. A bit cold and the crisp was soft but it was still tasty. My husbands pad Thai in the other hand was dry, cold, and tasteless. All the noodles where stucked together as if it had been in the fridge and then reheated. It lacked salt, pepper, and anything they put on a pad Thai to make it tasty. We just ate it because we were very hungry and it was 11:20pm and everything else was closed. Don’t order the pad Thai and know that it might take 1 hour and half to get your food.

I’m super sad about A&J’s super low rating! My roommates and I order from there ALL the time. I think the issue is what people are ordering. I wouldn’t order soup dumplings from here, especially not delivery. I would recommend ordering thai from here — their green curry shrimp is pretty delicious. Sushi is pretty good as well, definitely not the best I’ve had in my life, but the plus is that if you want sushi and someone else wants Chinese or thai, you can have it all. They always get to our apartment on time, so no complaint here. Solid place to order asian delivery from.

My boyfriend and I ordered from seamless because it showed 5 stars… when it took longer than the allotted time I checked the reviews to see what others said about delivery time and realized there were actually no reviews! So then we went on Unilocal and got nervous that it was going to be inedible. The food came(took about an hour), the delivery guy was super nice, and the food looked and smelled okay. It’s definitely not the best thai food we’ve ever had, but it was decent!

Horrible! I ordered soup dumplings and instead received some watery soup that tasted like it was made with last weeks chicken soup. The shrimp tasted like the sea, if the sea was the east river. It was so bad that I had to stop eating it because of fear of food poisoning. I thought to myself being as I had not eaten since 1pm that I would at least try to make a meal of the rice. You can not screw that up right? Well wrong. The rice tasted like they let it sit on the counter and a baby played with his dirty diapers and then handled the rice. It came fast though right? No No, it did not. Apparently it takes longer to ruin food that to make it right. It came after 1 hour and 20 minutes and it was only a mile away. OMG I just took a second to to read I.R.‘s review and the soup dumpling with the crime victim part was not only right on, but hilarious. I dont usually get so angered by food delivery or quality even if its mediocre. This food was so bad that If I could help one human being by steering them away from this place then I will be happy. Stay away.

Ordered on Seamless in part because it showed 5 stars. I would give this place 0 stars. The most egregious thing was the«soup dumplings» which I took to mean the pillowy, soup-filled dumplings made famous by places in Chinatown. This is FRAUD. A&J just dumps some supermarket frozen dumplings into a quart of bland soup with a piece of cucumber floating on top like a crime victim. Ordered several other things and they all tasted crappy. We ordered a salad and the dressing tasted fermented. We ordered a curry soup, I think they just took the soup dumpling stock and dumped some curry mix into it. I felt this way after being mugged. If no one stops them, they will rob someone else.(Sidenote: I just noticed that Seamless doesn’t seem to accept very many critical reviews, which is why I am posting this on Unilocal
