3D’s Castle Restaurant

Sometimes you just have to form your own opinion… This is mine. Been coming here for years but haven’t been here for about a year since i moved. Went to Brooklyn today and had a taste for oxtails and curry goat roti. I got both to share with my kids and YES they were both STILL very delicious!.everyones taste buds aren’t the same so don’t believe me just try it for yourself

Ordered a large and had it delivered. And they sent a small. Called back and asked them to send a large Jamaican lady tells me over the phone that she sent me a large and if I wanted to change it I would have to put my clothes on and bring it in. Horrible customer service. Never will eat from here again & the rice is clumpy most of the time. I just don’t have too many options around where I live besides fast food but this restaurant is on my do not enter list.

The food is very mediocre and inconsistent. You never know if it will taste burned and dry, stale, bland, or on occasion decent.
The service can be ok – sometimes the people there are friendly.
The patties, porridge, fish cake are good. The food – oxtail, curry, jerk chicken stew, soup, rice all need drastic improvement.
It’s open 24 hours so when you’re hungry sometimes you just don’t want McDonald’s.

Great food, horrible customer service! I wanted a vegetable soup, but wanted to know what vegetables they had in the soup before ordering. One of the guys started listing them, but the lady ringing everyone up rudely stopped him and said it’s vegetables in vegetable soup… REALLY??? DUH! I asked because I can’t eat them all, but whatever… smh

Well been going to 3D’s for years since I lived in brooklyn. The great part about the restaurant is that its 24 hours and the food is always fresh.
We stopped by before our trip back to Joisey, the wife was craving oxtail. The place had a steady crowd coming in and this was about 130am. This place is typically a take out, but it has a couple of tables if you wanted to eat in.
We placed our order and the girl at the front was friendly compared to the other girls that Im used to seeing. Our food was ready within 5 minutes. We paid and we went back to the car. The wife couldn’t wait, so she dove right in and was very satisfied. The rice was soft and tasty and covered in gravy just the way we like it. The oxtail was seasoned perfect.

I had the jerk chicken over beans and rice with fried plantain on the side. In a word it left me with the same impression the décor did… Meh
Over cooked rice, cloying jerk, gross plantain
Why the fuss? There’s much better out there

A splash from the islands Caribbean cuisine open 24 hours made convenient delicious food delicious soups serving nice portiones a taste of the islands wonderful.

In the morning time around 6−7am the Staff are RUDE AS HELL! My Original morning breakfast is Cornmeal and Bake. I called day before yesterday evening to see if they have it so that when I come the next morning they will have it ready.
So when I arrive at this place the staff are very unfriendly and highly disturbed. I just recently became a vegetarian so options of food are different and alittle bit hard to adjust too.
I ask for bake and cornmeal the lady states that there’s none! (Jamaican accent w/​Stare and Eye)… Ok so I order Ackie and Fish with Dumplings. The lady sucks her teeth. I should have known that was a Red Flag but I didn’t want to be late for work so I proceeded with the order.
In a hurry they put the foods together. Happy as can be second time having Ackie and Fish with Dumplings I hurry to my Car so I won’t be late for work. As I park the car not far from work and proceed to open the contains to eat; everything spills out allllllll over my seats of the car and my clothes. The smell of that dish reaks not to mention I just got my car detailed and On top of that I had a meeting at work that day in the next hour or so. Urghhhhhh! I was so upset. I was screaming and through everything out the window in disgust and frustration. So to air out the Smell I rolled my windows down of my Car. Thank God the Car wasn’t stolen. I managed to get to work with my stained clothes and sprayed Lysol on my pants and shirt and rubbed it into my garments.
After work I went back to my Car where the smell was still there so I took my Car over to Atlantis Car Wash and Lube and the Boys took care of my Car re-​detailed everything all over again with an exterior wash.
I recommended you don’t go here in the mornings because what happened to me may happen to you. In fact don’t visit here at all. You’ll be disappointed Trust me!

First time eating their food. Honestly it wasnt too bad. Cant mess up curry chicken & white rice. The wait wasnt too bad like everyone say it is. &* the ladies wasnt mean at all. Definitely would go again

..ordered the jerk with rice nd peas. the chicken even tho had flavor. had no meat. they serve chicken backs. no meat just bone. I got ripped off.

Hmm. what should one eat after having a drinking fest for about 10 hours or so well not much in options are going to be open at 5 am except for White Castle and that sort first we tried them but they did not have change for $ 100 so we left drove around a bit and then we came upon 3D’s have had occasion of eating their food before but that was such a long time ago that the experience seems to have faded from memories at first the food did smell a bit stale almost as if if had been cooked for well over 15 hours but the taste really was not that bad at all the jerk chicken is spicy but yet very flavorful and the oxtail is delightfully tasting the rice is not overly as most Jamaican’s in this country tend to make their rice which is great and a much welcomed change
ps: On a side note I really feel like I must warn people that have certain fears in life that they ought to take some precautions about coming here so early on a weekend morning as we just experienced some young little punks having a little war with some other guys in a car concerning one of their girlfriends not really sure how it actually started and nor do I care to find out but basically both parties had at least one gun each and the punks that were hanging around outside were pretty much overly disgusting attitude-​wise and everything so anyway after we parked the car I decided to stand next to it not knowing that the guys in the front car was getting ready to shoot the punks after they saw me they decided that it would be way to risky to do anything in front of me so they just said next time we will get you faggot ass pussies and then the punks came up to my car with their little gun trying to investigate if I was apart of the guys team they were obviously drunk so they could not tell and so they tried to intimidate me but to no avail as I have some knowledge in dealing these kinds of people and the people behind the counter seemed to condone this type of savage behavior based upon this scenario although not afraid I would prefer not to even venture in during the day time as it really is not something that I personally approve of

The wait is sometimes annoying and the etiquette of the women behind the counter are not always up to par .food had gotten a little on the downside but still good .(a bit biased since my mother is a great cook and Jamaicans know when their own kind are slacking in the kitchen) .not bad tho.

I was at a party where the food was catered by 3D’s and it was Fantastic! The jerk chicken was spicy and the stewed chicken was falling off the bone, melt in your mouth good. And the beef and chicken patties… fuhgettaboutit!
