According to the sign on their door, they were only supposed to be open until 10:30 on Thursday, but I think the kid working there forgot to set a clock back somewhere after DST ended. Thank God, because that’s the only place that was open after 11(Henry’s, why-for dost thou forsake me?). They are pretty reliable and their selection is large and decent even if in no way exceptional. Especially when you just need a gallon jug of Carlo Rossi(equivalent of five bottles) to last you several days, they cannot be beaten at $ 17(the store by Bushwick Houses is $ 21 for the same). You’re definitely not coming here for great wine, but drinkable and inexpensive it is. If you need quantity for a party or just want something cheap but palatable for when no one else is around, they’ll get the job done at a good price and with no up-turned noses. ;-) And they do have some pretty good stuff too, just not as unique as Henry’s.
