Allina Health Brooklyn Park Clinic

I have been with this clinic for over 2 years. Dr. Wust and Kristen Medhanie, NP are my two favorite providers. They listen to my concerns and I always leave their office feeling better. I would give this clinic 5 stars, but I recently had a horrible experience with the care coordinator, Jen. I was referred to see a specialist, and Jen was supposed to schedule this appointment. We couldn’t do it on the same day as my appointment because the specialty clinic was closed. Jen tells me she’ll call me tomorrow. She never calls me, so I leave a message. The next day, she still doesn’t call me, so I leave a mychart message with my doctor. Jen still hasn’t called me. The next day, and now third day, I decide to call the specialty clinic myself and tell them to call my clinic to get the referral. The specialty clinic tells me that an appointment has been scheduled for me for the end of the month. What? How unprofessional and inconsiderate of Jen to never call me, but she goes and schedules an appointment without even confirming whether the date and time works for me. I am truly unhappy with Jen, but I will continue to go to this clinic because of the great providers and front desk staff who welcome and say goodbye to you. If I’m ever referred to a specialist again, I refuse to go through Jen. The clinic manager should really consider talking to her about her poor customer service skills.
