This guy is dead but I’m still going to write a review. A couple of years ago I was looking for a holistic-minded dentist(I was going through a hippie phase) and he advertised himself as such. I later discovered he is not a dentist but a periodontist. His whole gimmick was to get you to come into his office for a consult(charge you $ 75) and sell you dental bites that he invented. The dental bites which are small pieces of plastic cost $ 500 – 600 and don’t actually do anything for you think of it as a mental prosthetic in place of actual dentistry. While I was there my consult was repeatedly interrupted by a technician who was trying to do a filling on a patient without any painkillers. Apparently he couldn’t use any prescription medicine on his patient since he’s not an actual dentist. This guy was a crook and a charlatan. Stay away from whoever inherited his practice.

called to get info and pricing on amalgam removal. no answer the first three times i called. when i got the good doctor on the line, he refused to answer any questions at all and said nothing about pricing. he tried to get me in for a consultation(who knows how much that costs) and would not provide any information. like his time is more valuable than my time! and yes they can give pricing information without seeing your teeth. all they have to do is consider the range of prices over the last ten patients for the same procedure and tell you why some procedures cost more or less than others. this information will also educate you on the procedure. yolin was clueless regarding the above and wanted me to spend my time coming in to see him when he could have easily answered my simple questions in under 2 minutes. not someone i want to have working on me. he gets two stars rather than one because i previously called david brown of westborough, a supercilious dentist who was even worse. brown gets no star at all. dentist david brown totally refused to answer any question and wanted me to pay him $ 135 for a consultation before deigning to answer my questions. i suppose he would have required $ 135 upfront before pricing a teeth cleaning also. the time to drive out and the office wait and the drive back would have cost another $ 300 of my time. it seemed that brown could not understand why i would want to shop around — apparently he is not used to prospective patients asking questions. i should have asked him to come to my office to consult and see if he could win my business after paying me $ 135. the search for a competent and inexpensive dentist continues. dr. evans at groton wellness is very well regarded. unfortunately, i found that they are outrageously expensive. so stay away from them unless you are a rich person. note that they call their dental office a «spa» and their lunchroom a «bistro.» and they give you warm towels. they also have a WHP and NPC; an «wholistic health practitioner» and«new patient coordinator.» apparently you talk to the NPC to make an appointment. actually they call it a «reservation» and it costs $ 97 to make that reservation. the NPC talks to you about your«concerns» for an hour before the dentist gets to you. i can’t imagine what they call him. as you can see, groton wellness is a marketing organization designed to take your money, much like a herb chambers dealership. and the groton wellness motto?: «it’s all about You!» so here is what to do: call 1– 651−644−4572 and leave your mailing address to get DAMS’s(dental amalgam mercury solutions) info packet on the process and their list of the best mercury removal dentists in the area. this is a top-notch non-profit that is a free service to you and does not take money from dentists. they are extremely helpful and you really should not choose a mercury removal dentist without reading their information packet. ask lots of questions and don’t be intimidated by the god-act these full-of-themselves dentist-centered dentists put on. remember that half of them graduated in the bottom half of their class and their narrowly focused specialty has made them clueless about everything else.
