I adore this Starbucks. Great baristas and accurate service. I’ve never left disappointed!

There are other Starbucks closer in proximity to my abode but I always come here for my regular cup of joe. The consistency here both in service and coffee are what keeps me coming back. Those are always a winning combination! Kudos to the team here — it really shows when there’s consistency and efficiency in the staff.

How can I be the first one to review this Starbucks? It’s fantastic. Has a nice café vibe going for it, with lots of regulars hanging out and the staff is the best. It’s like the coffee bar version of Cheers. «Making your way in the world today Takes all the caffeine you’ve got Taking a break from all your worries Sure would help a lot Wouldn’t you like to get away…»

I like this Starbucks because it is neither too crowded nor too cold. Even in the winter, they get the heat situation and the furniture thing down right. The drinks are delicious. I’m by no means a regular here– I think I go maybe 4 or 5 times a year, but they can figure out my very complicated drink orders on their first attempts. Many joggers pass by and tons of mothers with strollers roll through. I’m not a mom, but I enjoy the company because it means that everyone is nice and kind! I don’t think I’ve ever had a serious problem getting a seat here, though. If you like feeling like it’s the holiday season, this is a good Starbucks to go to. I don’t know why, but it always feels like Christmas at this Starbucks. Is that not PC because it’s in Brookline? Way better than the Coolidge Corner location, but still not my favorite Boston-area Starbucks.

I really like this Starbucks. Yes, the drinks are the same as they would be anywhere else. However, the baristas really make the experience. They are always friendly and very helpful. The line can be long, but they do a pretty good job getting through it. It’s a very busy location, so there’s not always seating, but that’s never bothered me. Hands down favorite Starbucks I’ve ever regularly patronized.

I’ve never had a bad experience here, and I think that says something about the Starbucks brand and this location in particular. Located in beautiful Brookline, this Starbucks is efficient and friendly, and it takes advantage of its wonderful location. During the spring and summertime, they have tables out front that customers can enjoy. Inside it’s spacious, yet cozy. In way of service, they’ve never failed. I don’t think I’ve ever spent more than 5 – 7 minutes in there, which speaks to the quality and efficiency of the staff here. When I need my caffeine fix, I always know where to go!

Coffee is coffee at Starbucks, everyone knows what to expect. The ‘servers’ I encountered were very nice, which is always a plus and definitely not always a given at Sbucks in general. My main issue, among others, is the use of space here. There is a lot of space here, yet the tables are right up against each other and there is barely room to sit, while there is a very large coffee/novelties display area in the middle of the place. If they added more tables and made better use of their space this location would be fantastic!

This place is very warm and open, but their winter layout needs to change to keep that constant. Right now it’s super cluttered and hard to navigate, but otherwise I like the bench seating and open plate glass windows all along the front. In the summer they have outdoor seating there, too, which is a welcome change. I tried the Christmas blond today, which was good, but took a little longer because they had to make it in the Clover. Why offer a special and not have it brewed? I don’t know… Their holiday drinks are okay, but I’ll stick with the Pike’s Place roast from now on. My problem with this place is that the personnel are always very chatty with one another, but not in a professional way. Waiting in line for coffee, you’ll hear all about their shenanigans from the night or weekend before, who’s dating who and what article of clothing somebody lost while drinking too much. Sometimes that’s okay, but it’s not what I want to hear at 9am while I’m having my first cup of the day.

Here are my issues with this location: 1. It’s basically an off-campus study hall 2. The ladies room is disgusting(see photo that I added) I get it… the wi-fi is free, but SOMEONE who works here needs to learn how to say«um, excuse me, but I see that your entire table of 15 giggling teenagers has been here for 2 hours now, so do you think you could actually go somewhere else?». No more; I’m done with the obnoxious Starbucks ‘tude.

I loooove their strawberries smoothie! I am definitely going back. I give them a 4 starts only because I prefer DD coffee over their coffee.

If I want coffee with syrup pumped into it, this is place to go. This or any other Starbucks. I haven’t been able to differentiate between the various city Starbucks as far as coffee goes — which is probably exactly what they want. Mission accomplished. Gym bunnies, book worms, MBA’s, struggling students, neighbors all make for an interesting mix of eye candy.

I started every morning here on my vacay, waiting to pick up the T. I just have to give a shout-out to the fabulous morning crew! I waited in line and watched how you interacted and welcomed the«regulars» and then, when my turn came, I was welcomed with the same excitement and warmth! Who says New Englanders are cold :-P xoxo — and thanks for the newly*discovered egg-white/spinach/feta wrap :)

Yes, I‘m a fan. And employees are always very kind and helpful. However, one question folks; how on the earth is possible to find a spot in this place to sit down and work/read? Please help me, because i have been trying for a while and whenever i go there, it‘s always packed. I am getting tired of trying, so what time should be there to have a coffee while being able to sit? Brookline definitely needs a Caribou Coffee. I am not saying caribou has better coffee, saying because it always has more real estate.

By all standards, this is my favorite Starbucks that I’ve ever been to. It even surpassed that Starbucks in my hometown which I didn’t think was possible. But these baristas have all gone above and beyond. No matter if it’s 6am or 9:55pm, these guys(and girls,) have been receptive, quick and efficient. I’ve been at both ends of the time spectrum, and even if it’s as they’re closing, they will always make me a drink, whatever I want, no matter how complicated.(Sorry about that…) Keep doing what you’re doing, it’s keeping me coming back at least 3 times a week. The environment is cozy and warm and welcoming, and I’ve never seen a Starbucks with a long table in the middle. I will say though that everyone is super studious in here so it’s usually so quiet that you feel awkward just opening the door, but I usually just blare some kind of weird music through my headphones and make my order. The people who said that the servers were rude or slow or unhelpful were obviously either lost or in serious need of coffee to bring them to reality.

I hate to review a Starbucks, but what inspired me to write here is the unusually high level of friendliness here. The baristas are above and beyond in terms of pleasantness and please-ability, or at least they have been every time I’ve been in(it’s about 3 – 4 staffers I’m thinking of here). Not sure who served those Unilocalers who complained about the rudeness, but it sure wasn’t anyone I’ve ever seen, they’re always so cheerful and conversational. It’s nice to get a smile with your coffee. I’m one of those who spends 4ish hours here doing work, and no one ever bothers me, which I adore. There’s a variety of seating(shared table, tables for 2, comfy armchairs), but it tends to get filled up fast so go during an off-time.

This Starbucks is a favorite of my friends and my new pup. In the winter, we bring games and hang out without feeling rushed or unwelcome. My pup likes the seats outside, she enjoyed some treats and water and lots of lovin’ from people walking by.
