A Starbucks is a Starbucks is a Starbucks, but I especially like the staff and layout here. Good quality, short wait times, friendly attitude, and a fair amount of seating for a huge crowd that’s always there. I visit mainly in the afternoons; I have no idea re: the mornings. There’s parking behind the building that usually has a ton of spaces open. It’s cheap and you can pay by credit card! A nice touch for a daily auto commuter like myself. I’d love to see them get the iPhone adapters for the power circles they have– I know the Starbucks by City Place in Boston has them!

This particular Sbx was playing Chris Tomlin’s cover of «Good Good Father» when I entered the store today. I thought that was pretty cool considering all the news about the Red Cup controversy. The service was great and my coffee tasted excellent as well. Definitely pay a little extra and get the cold brewed coffee. SUCH A HUGEDIFFERENCE!

.now. I’ve never see. A Starbucks with such a perpetually long line, and not related to it’s popularity. There is no sense of urgency here… which would be okay at 2pm. Or at 7pm. But not at 7:30 am, when people arête hungry get to work.

Irritable and disorganized. Seems like they need more staff and a healthy dose of friendly.

People working here are great. Unfortunately no comfortable chairs to sit so it is a hard place to work in. Why no comfortable chairs here? The wash sq one has them. So does virtually every other one I have been in.

Your usual Starbucks coffee but served with a smile. The barista was friendly and nice compared to others I’ve been to in Boston. Place was spacious and ample seating. I like it.

My husband and I both became quite sick from the milk they used. We were both in the restroom all day after drinking the skim milk. When you go, be sure to ask if the milk is fresh.

Tried a flat white at another location on Harvard and was pleasantly surprised. This may give small premium shops some competition. It was you would fine at an indie shop. I had a flat white today in the Village. Horrible. No velvet head just the lame bubbles per usual latte with a dollop of white in the middle. For 4 bucks I am not going to risk again. Back to walking an extra block for quality.

My go to SB hands down is the location by my office! Drew and the other baristas are always on point with any drink selections, not a complaint to report!

This Starbucks is constantly packed! It’s always a neat site to see, though — young professionals and students alike, diligently working over some delicious brews and pastries. I think their time spent working here is a testament to what a great location this is and what a pleasant staff they have working here. As much as I want to join these hardworking individuals each time I see them huddled around a table, I usually find myself wandering the beautiful village of Brookline.

My go-to coffee shop to get some work done. Unlike many other Starbucks they have comfortable tables at the right height and always play a nice selection of music. Super nice baristas are also a major plus! I thought I would never write a nice review about Starbucks, but here it is.

I really dislike this Starbucks. Which is a shame, because I love Starbucks otherwise. The baristas just aren’t the friendliest bunch, and it seems like they don’t put their best effort into the drinks. I get the same iced coffee from this place almost every other day. I was in Times Square recently, and got the same drink there. Not only were the baristas super-friendly, but they wanted to make sure my drink tasted right. And man, they showed me what a Starbucks iced coffee SHOULD taste like. I really hope the attitude of Village baristas improves!

Standard Starbucks. Nice atmosphere. The employees are all great — very friendly and they dont look at me like I’m stupid when I stumble over saying«grande tazo passion iced tea lemonade — sweetened.» I always managed to forget one of the key words(iced…lemonade…the size I want). Busy in the morning and also sometimes around 2:30 — especially if the local school children get out early. Not going to lie… watching 8 year olds order Starbucks makes me feel a little dead inside.

It has one large high top table and the rest are tables for 2. Clean but not very cozy. Location is super convenient(close to 65, 66, and t). Plus the staff is nice

I absolutely love this Starbucks. It isn’t because it’s convenient and near my job but the folks working here seem fun and always nice. They’re also quick on service and with a smile. It has always been a pleasant experience. 9 out of 10, I order their green iced tea and without sugar. It is soooo good!!!

If you are looking for a way to create high back pain between your shoulders, make sure to take your laptop and use it on the awkwardly high table on the left as you enter the front door. I’m guessing Shaquille O’neal designed the table as no human can comfortably type at that height. Also if it’s sunny, you’ll get absolutely blinded sitting there and will not be able to see your computer screen(or anything for that matter) for hours. The sun is like a laser beam coming in the front window. Overall, service was good and this Starbucks is clean on the inside. Confirming my Coolidge Corner — Brookline Village theorem. Coolidge Corner = Clean on the outside, Dirty on the Inside Brookline Village = Dirty on the outside, Clean on the inside I also like this Starbucks more than the one at Coolidge Corner because there is not the usual herd of teenage kids strewn about the inside going apeshit about the release of some awful Vampire movie.

I don’t need to be swayed, this Starbucks is my homeland. These baristas are my daily therapists and caffienators. They put up with crazy Brookline customers and babies all day long and still show that they enjoy their jobs with their regulars! Try finding this kind of service and fun at a chain like Starbucks… okay…have you found one any better? Nope. Didn’t think so. Oh, and by the way, I made this place famous people.

I’ve been coming here for years. It was great when I started coming in, and it’s only gotten better with time. Definitely one of the best Starbucks I’ve ever encountered, if not THE best. They redesigned the space last year, and that pushed it from ‘good but weirdly cramped’ into ‘great’ territory. The giant table provides ample seating and there are plenty of outlets for computers. The staff just flat out rocks. They generally keep the line moving like clockwork, even during the big rushes in the morning, and on top of that are friendly, fun, and efficient. Top notch customer service. And of course the coffee and espresso drinks are great. As are the foodstuffs. So: great place, great people, great service, and great drinks.

In response to the lackluster review below, I believe that the 3 star rating given was unjustifiably low especially considering that no real negative points were made in the review. I’ve lived in Brookline Village for about 2 years now, and this Starbucks has been proven to be one of my favorites. This shop boasts extremely fast drink turnaround, consistently correct and well made drinks, and friendly service. The interior seats more people than any other coffee shop in the area, and there are plenty of outlets for people who bring their computers(which is one of my only gripes about the Coolidge Corner Starbucks). In summary: good service, well-made drinks, and customer convenience.
