Best doctor ever!!! I trust him with any and everything… he is simply the best!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Katz for 4 years and I can’t say enough great things about him. Seeing a gynecologist isn’t the most pleasant experience a woman can have, but he’s very laid back, calm and makes you feel totally at ease. He also asks about your health in general, just because he wants to get an overall picture — which I really appreciate. He also is really good about getting back to you when you call.
When I was pregnant, he was very supportive and used a common sense approach to dos & don’ts during pregnancy (e.g. caffeine isn’t good, but for me having one cup of coffee/​day was ok). I was also one of those people who didn’t need to have my hand held during every step of the pregnancy, so I liked his matter-​of-​fact attitude about pregnancy. But I get the sense that he’d hold your hand if you needed it. He works out of B&W Hospital, and all the nurses on the delivery floor just loved him — I got the sense they really liked working with him.
But most importantly, he genuinely cares about his patients. For example, after I delivered my daughter, I experienced some pain after I’d been discharged. I called in the evening, and the doctor on call told me to come into the ER or call Dr. Katz during office hours. I figured I’d wait until the morning. But then Dr. Katz CALLED ME in the morning to ask what was going on. I explained the situation, and he said, «Ok, come in today when you can.» «What time should I come?» «Whenever. I’ll squeeze you in when you get here.»
I never thought I’d be so comfortable with a male OB/​GYN, but Dr. Katz really is phenomenal.
