initially the inventory was fun but very quickly it became poorer quality items that were a bit on the drab side. a lot of the mainstream brands cue carries can be readily found elsewhere. the owner is super sweet and the space is nice. i would have given the place three stars except for the fact i purchased a sweater, only to realize the item was damaged when i later took it out of the bag. the sweater’s shoulders were stretched out due to the way the owner had displayed the item. she had to have noticed this as she was wrapping it up for me but the only thing she said was that there are no returns(she was having a store-wide sale). i understand this may have been why the sweater was included in the marked-down inventory, however i would not have spent even what i did had i known it was damaged.

I was curious to see what would open in this unique but small space in place of the yarn store that had been there for ages. I was excited to see it was a clothing store so I walked in the first week it opened. The owner was super friendly and very helpful and I left with a cute hat that I got tons of compliments on. Then I went back again and then again and I am hooked! This store has really helped update my wardrobe. There are clothes to fit not just the skinny body type and the owner is great at finding things that work for you. I get so many compliments on the stuff I’ve bought here. The clothes are fashionable and comfortable with a slightly vintage feel. Definitely work appropriate though there is other more fun styles too. Hats, bags, scarves etc. are adorable. They are working on increasing their inventory, which would make the store even better. Overall, I am delighted by this addition to Brookline Village.
